Cheers Coach. Saw Rotherham at Highfield Road, Sixfields and St. Andrews. Went to the Ricoh as a Lincoln fan. As far as I can see only Gillingham have played Coventry at all four grounds in league games. That would have been a tough one.

I'd forgotten all about Cov playing at 4 different grounds that must be close to a record in itself ...and yep , it would have been a bloody tough question too

ah yes reg , Notts County just missing out on PL ,similar to Luton and before that , Oxford .
By my reckoning only Wigan and Wimbledon have played in both the Premier league (92/93 on) and the National/Conference league completing the 5 divisions ...
Bradford ,Oldham and Bolton could be next in line to join them

Going back to Coventry & the wire's post of 5 Dec are they the only current league club to have played home matches at 4 different grounds? I can think of some who have played at 3 (Brighton for example) but not 4, being too lazy to check myself I thought I'd ask the much more educated forum members to confirm! (If this is indeed the case then Coventry at home to Gillingham is unique in English league history).

Just to qualify that I'd restrict to after World War 1 as I know a lot of clubs had little-known grounds before becoming established at their known 'homes'.

Brighton have played on four grounds in the league and I visited them all as a Rotherham fan. They left the Goldstone (in Hove) in 1997 then had a ground share with Gillingham. The Withdean Athletics stadium was their home when they moved back to Brighton and have played at the Amex in Falmer since 2011. So four home venues and only one in Brighton. I've not checked to see if anybody other than Rotherham played on all four, they were at Gillingham for just two years so that will narrow it down.
I can't think of any team that has had five grounds whilst a league club. There are quite a few teams who played a few home games at other grounds for various reasons, Bournemouth at Dorchester, Leeds at Hull, Middlesbro at Hartlepool and Stoke at Port Vale for example but I'm only counting those that played on a ground for a full season.

Don,t know if you know this sporting question. What was the occasion when both teams at Old Trafford played and completed the match in an all white strip ?
