There has been error in bet settlement in ATALANTA SAMPDORIA CORRECT SCORE market. I layed 0:3 result, final result 1:3, but BF said its loss. Never happened to me before. Contacting customer support was very disappointing experience, where obviously agent dont understand difference between BACK and LAY, or didnt read my first message, or both, as he replied: in order your bet has to be a winning bet result has to be 0:3, he didnt check the type of bet. BF pls if you read this make sure your bet settlement system is working correctly and your customer service stuff is trained properly. Thanks a lot.

They incorrectly settled my > 3.5 goals bet in this match too. Soon changed it when I complained and eventually gave me three free £10 bets as compensation (This is the third time I have had to contact them recently, I did not request compensation before..............and only did so today as shiny shoes suggested it.)
The competence of the front line Betfair help team is very poor. IMVHO they have had no training in either 'customer service or care' and are simply very lowly paid for the sole purpose of relaying any query raised onto someone 'more senior' for a response, which they then relay parrot fashion. They have no authority to make any decision what so ever and have to relay all queries raised, however minor or simple. |

This customer service mob do all sorts of firms ,when you contact them their screen comes up with the co name and they pick up a help card corresponding to that company with the usual questions and answers.

ericster, I click on 'Help' at the bottom of the page, then 'Help with something else' at the bottom of that question list, then click on 'Message us' and u get a pop up that you can then message Betfair.
Others on here use twitter etc. |

Just checked my statement to see that they 'fixed' the 'error'of my win on Sampdoria on the match odds market by removing the profit and stake. They have now fixed the fix by putting it back.

99, I'm missing that couple of quid from yesterday, as far as my bet-history is concerned that lay/back green up never happened.
I shall have a look at those help options you mentioned but I'm a bit thick when it comes to apps and online media. Might be best to just let it go. |

Checked out the help tabs and I just kept going around in circles with Qs & As. How can there be no contact with a company this big? Because they ARE... this big... I guess. I suppose they just got so sick of the nutters. Never mind, fingers crossed when I play again eh? I'm only a peanuts-player, I enjoy the play, but you can't play not knowing if you'll get the pay out if/when you win. Life eh?  |

You might find it useful to look in account statement rather than bet history. That's where the correction and re-correction were visible to me.

ericster, u are not being thick at all, the betfair help is buried and not easy to find.
(1) Scroll down to the bottom of the main Betfair page, and click on the 'Help' link. (2) A list of questions will pop up, the last question which is 'Help with something else?'. Click on this and you will then see a link stating 'Message us'. (3) Click on the 'Message us' link and u will get a pop up that allows you to type in your queries for discussion with Betfair. Be sure to ask for compensation when and if they resolve your problem. It's worth you finding out how to contact betfair in this instance even if only for a fe quid, in case u get a more significant error in the future requiring resolution. |

Didn't ask for comp, not on a couple of quid and that's all it's ever going to be. It's a bitter pill to swallow though. VOIDED BECAUSE IT WAS A REVERSED FIXTURE.  |
