Just the eight matches for match day 1, we had 3 goals last night, average of 3.57 for the season, up from the 2.72 of last season. |

Pep's City used to win these games routinely 5-0, imagine 2/5 league titles for him, what a failure that would be with the money they have spent, probably biggest failure of all time
By:
Brilliant goal.
Apparently. |
By:
I cant understand why City are still favs to win the league
By:
WOW.
It's a stunner. An absolute stunner. Tomas Soucek controls the ball on the right and slips it back to Vladimir Coufal. He curls it into the six-yard area and Michail Antonio acrobatically leaps and volleys it in on the overhead. Stunning! Inredible goal. He has taken a chance, the athleticism and strength. He is on his own and has five Man City defenders around him. An incredible finish. |

probably an overreaction to the Van Dijk injury.

yeah maybe

Thanks Angoose! Just watching footie focus.....................Great interview with Neil Warnock, came across much more human than I had thought he was.

Has mellowed with age ......

By:
Not quite sure he has mellowed much when watching 'his' footie team though.........................

Is this the most open season ever?
Is there another Leics shock in the offing? Or leics themselves even. The premier league's gone mad. |
By:
It sure would be a great change if it was competitive at the top of the league this season, rather than than one or two teams running away it as be the case for much of the last 30 odd years.
By:
as has been........................
By:
There are some lively wildcards in there this season and good luck to them.
By:
Are we going to see the away win and goal frenzy continue for the whole season, or will we see a reversion to the mean

Sack Pep, get a manager in who doesn't still thin it's 2011 and possession football is in vogue
By:
Aguero doesn't look interested for the short time I watched that first half. City in possession, going forward and he behind the ball not showing any interest in pushing forward at all. Not like him at all.
By:
Eighth game this season to finish 1-0 at half time.
Only two finished at 1-0, five finished as home wins, the other two finished as 1-1 draws. West Ham were 1-0 against wolves at half time, went on to win 4-0 ![]() |
By:
Spurs could go close, i reckon.
![]() |
By:
Pep will probably take Aguero off (even though they need a goal) because in Peps mind this will make him look a genuine when Torres comes on instead to win the game
By:
genius
By:
Aguero rushed back too quickly from injury? not match fit either, probably why he is off the pace? No he is older, will take longer to get back to match fitness as well.
By:
Don't discount Leeds imo.
By:
If Mourhino takes the shackles off with the players he has, rather than reverting to type, then yes Spurs should be in with a great shout in challenging for the league.
By:
It's been apparent for a long time that Jesus doesn't cut it. Gawd knows why they haven't got in at least one other striker.
By:
Aguero off; good decision imo

City players giving the ref his instructions for the 2nd half. Who do they think they are, man Utd?
