surely this will break the record for most goals in a matchweek ? think the record is 41 though not sure I read it a while ago, every game over 2.5 bar Chelsea - Liverpool. Maybe it's the no crowd scenario making games feel like friendlies/less pressure/more lax defending ?

43 the record   ...2 games to go ...i'd say a pretty good chance  .... i expect next week it will back to around 25 Happy

during the closed stadia period i've been lamenting the lack of goals  ... this weekend has been a real freak weekend and i have no idea why , with scorelines in 2 days  i wouldn't normally get in 5 months  ...and i did a check on the results grid to find that out Cool

Aspro no you not alone, had a fab weekend and feel like I'm dreaming, despite to bets going pear shaped yesterday, and Betfail not letting me see my bets in the Burnley game, still managed to come out ahead last night after backing another couple of goals.

This will probably all come to a halt tonight as I've laid city massively, surely 1.57 is  ridiculous.wolves have beaten city on last 3 games and I've also laid unders at 4.5 and 5.5 to trade .
Bring on the goals. Cue nil nil.

Here's a laugh, with last night's game (Leicester/Burnley). I was on over 6.5 goals and when the 6th was scored I traded out for a decent green or an amazing green if there were 7 goals; either way I walk away content. In addition I had bought Burnley goals at 1.0 on the spreads and had already made a profit on the 2 they did score. If you watched the game you would have seen a feeble effort by Burnley right at the end, which hit the post. If that scores then both would have provided a very nice additional chunk of cash, in addition to what I had already banked. If only eh?

Wasn't just the PL, 36 in L1 and 37 in L2 so a good weekend for goals buyers and hopefully next weekend will see the same

Was an enjoyable game to watch twoquidew; as the commentary said, Burnley just do not give up and (as you say) were a little unlucky not to get something out of it. They should remain pretty in the Premiership again though, which they deserve.

this premier league weekend in 1993 beats all others by miles ....   (also see sundays results )

the fact there were more games  makes this even more of  a feat as the average goals are far higher

Will there ever be a no score draw in the EPL ever again Confused
And will there ever be a drawn game ever again, 18 games played, not a single draw, only two matches with a single goal win margin.
