shakhtar tonight?

I backed them outright.

They are a typical '3rd in the CL group' team, just like Inter/Sevilla/United, so hard to see why they are hopeless underdogs.

Inter have kept a lot of clean sheets lately, tells me they've got their act together, but Shaktar always score. though not against teams of Inter's level. Though Basel were a poor team against Donetsk tbh so not much to take from that, scored from a corner, deflection, penalty (by which time they'd given up), easy goal.

Shaktar are very attacking and then you realise why, they've got 6 Brazilians in their first team, 2 of which are now naturalised Ukrainians, Morares and Marlos. COnte likes taking Martinez off in this comp around 65-70 mins, wouldn't back him to score 2 or more.

Kinda has a 2-1 or 2-0 Inter feel about though. Think Inter will frustrate them, Donetsk then picked off. Maybe Lukaku 1 goal with a Young assist, and Brozovic the other.

Shakhtar have done me plenty of favours in the past - but I am all over Inter tonight (mostly before the price collapsed! )

Not sure why a second thread was started for this match, many don't even get one thread started these days !

I think Inter are very short for a one off semi final, against a decent attacking team. Used to playing in neutral venues.

Inter win and over 2.5 and also separate BTTS, Shakhtar I think will score but it's a hedge on Inter not performing. I think both will come in. let's see.

Hard game to call. Wouldn't be surprised to see Extra Time.

BTTS @ 8/11 for me as an interest.

Shaktar might have a decent chance if they come out of their shell and actually try to win.
