Arsenal will sign him at the expense of another 50 non playing staff jobs

Ronaldo has hardly cost them success in the CL

Their only real top performer in the competition last 2 seasons
Report TOP3MAN August 14, 2020 10:06 PM BST
hasnt got them to the later stages though

Yes, it was mostly Sarri not really putting his mark down, getting the team flowing.

No idea what to make of Pirlo.

Messi would never go to Arsenal, would not be surprised if Man City bid for him.

its MESSI that wants to play for Arsenal, not Arsenal wanting to sign him,but the genius is free to go to who ever he pleases, and his boyhood dream was always that one day he would play for Arsenal. The mind boggles ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????after tonight.

Juve have played 3 ties in the CL knockouts since Ronaldo was there.

They have scored 7 goals in those games and I think Ronaldo scored all of them.

Hard to see that him being too old is stopping then making semis. Seems more like other players not doing it at that level.

True Tobermory, but if they got Messi as well, I dont see it propelling them to champions league glory,,, all the teams that seem to be doing well have players who out run their rivals. My point wasnt directed totally at Ronaldo, more that Juventus will surely have seen the blueprint for success is energy, hard work and clinical.

Game is changing quickly. All about the manager/tactics now and the likes of Nagelsmann, Flick, Pep, Klopp have teams greater than the sum of their parts who run all day. Don't think Messi at the price would be worth it for any of them.

There is a massive row in the Barcelona camp for a long time, its between the board of directors and the players.
The board maintain that the players are not putting the effort in,Messi is spokesman for the players being Captain, and has spoke openly as to what he thinks of the Board(xxxxxxx). The Spanish press run the story of the turmoil taking place at FC  Barcelona every week.
PS .  the xxxxxxx are not kissesLaugh

Inter to create a renewed rivalry with Ronaldo.

At 33 he's fading fast , Barca need to move on , the sooner the better
Report son of a gun August 19, 2020 10:28 PM BST
Agreed he's just an average player these days, Barca will fade into oblivion with a billion Euros in debt and half a dozen old and expendable players
