They keep making the same mistake over and over and over Ad Nauseum,Ad Infinitum. TWICE at the end of Bournemouth v Spurs THEY awarded Bournemouth a goal 4 minutes apart in the 85th and 89th minutes .Opened up their markets so Bournemouth were 1.3 for example and then on 2 seperate occasions have to change it making a farce of the betting. In fact on the second occasion the punters never moved. ALL BETFAIR have to do to avoid this fiasco is: 1/ If a goal is given SUSPEND ALL MARKETS 2/ DO NOT REPEAT NOT CHANGE THE SCORE UNTIL PLAY HAS RESUMED FROM THE CENTRE CIRCLE 3/ then RE-OPEN THE MARKETS IN THE SAFE KNOWLEDGE IT REALLY is A GOAL.... Or am I missing something ? I only first attended matched 58 years ago and have bet on Thousands of games since 1981 but WHY do they not do it that way? I would ring up but even that has stopped now....
I have been banging the drum to Betfair on this matter ever since VAR was introduced into the foreign leagues but they steadfastly refuse to change, its not hard is it to only re open the market once everybody knows whether its a goal or VAR have chalked the goal off then everyone is betting fairly knowing the true outcome and knowing there true position in the market instead of worrying will they won't they void the bets matched before a VAR reversal, over the course of VAR's history i have had bets correctly voided but 2 days later other times a day later other times after the match has finished within a couple of hours and most of the time straight away and then a couple of times my bets have not been voided with Betfair claiming the decision to rule out the goal was made by the referee and not VAR to which i disagreed and eventually proved my point and got the bets voided but whenever Betfair fail to instantly void these VAR reversals you are left not knowing your position on a market and its wrong.

Well Said. Supposing people had backed Bournemouth at 1.3 which they were after the "goal". Do they get refunded.
To make it even more farcical apparently there was only ONE incident so why 4 minutes after the first 85th Minute stoppage did they once again say 1/0 in the 89th minute. I thought it was another VAR trnover....
You are right when you said it's forensic football in THe Premiership...

Well said. They are clueless about in running Football, adding and deleting bets hours after the event not realising clients plan their P&L during the game.I've switched 80% to Smarkets as Betfair took too much £s from my account after one of their mistakes.
Why can't they acknowledge and sort their mistakes before liquidity takes another nosedive ?
