Forum's dead.
|

The ability to delete losing tips should be introduced so some spammers can return to the forum
How can they stay when they are found out time after time Twitter a far more natural home for then |
|
By:
It would be if everyone moved to Twitter.

Twitter has a limit on the number of characters... Betfair forum doesn't
|
|
By:
twitter didn't kill the forum, betfair stopping people from re-joining forum straight after being banned did
|

Yes. Nothing to do with Twitter/Facebook. Plenty of forums with the same set up as this one that are as busy now as they were 10 years ago. Twitter didn't kill them. Difference is those forums allowed people to join and Betfair stopped that.

By:
Those forums are self moderated, so easy to exclude the numpties
Why take abuse off idiots whilst supplying idiots with a stream of winners. Lol |
|
By:
should have a quota each month allowed to join. the loonier the better.

Twitter you can post gifs/memes without having to wait 2 weeks to get them approved first being another big factor
Lets be honest this forum would be more fun if it was an open forum, yeah ban the account but let them reopen up under a new gimmick Forums went to the dogs when they started introducing mods and "report" buttons, mods will ban for absolutely anything nowadays, they have such pathetic rules its pointless bothering signing up to them, just sign up with Twitter instead If you don't like the poster just introduce a block option and be done with it |
|
By:
This forum has the right idea with "block user" option, remove the report link and make it an open forum and its all good

i have only ever been on this forum.. I'm not that techy but discovered this one because I like a bet. Any recommendations for any other forums? And how to get on them/
TIA |

The OP is probably one of the ones who went to twitter anyway, so crack with things
|

The OP will be one of those people who hasn't been on here for ages but needs to let everyone know that he was here years ago and how wonderful it all was.
