Jurgen Klopp when asked to comment on football being suspended. (Not the full statement) The man oozes class. I don’t think this is a moment where the thoughts of a football manager should be important, but I understand for our supporters they will want to hear from the team and I will front that. First and foremost, all of us have to do whatever we can to protect one another. In society I mean. This should be the case all the time in life, but in this moment I think it matters more than ever. I’ve said before that football always seems the most important of the least important things. Today, football and football matches really aren’t important at all. Of course, we don’t want to play in front of an empty stadium and we don’t want games or competitions suspended, but if doing so helps one individual stay healthy - just one - we do it no questions asked. If it’s a choice between football and the good of the wider society, it’s no contest. Really, it isn’t. Today’s decision and announcement is being implemented with the motive of keeping people safe. Because of that we support it completely. We have seen members of teams we compete against become ill. This virus has shown that being involved in football offers no immunity. To our rival clubs and individuals who are affected and to those who later will become so, you are in our thoughts and prayers. |

it is very easy to solve this problem,if all the other teams in the league refuse to play Liverpool fc in next years fixtures they will win the league by a walk over and that will keep ever body connected with the club happy and they will be awarded their famous title.no need for a court case,and thats it sorted out.

City will hopefully pop it into their CAS hearing and propose as defending Champions this seasons Premier League title is awarded to them. As evidence they will provide details of the last time Liverpool won the Premier League and show video examples of slip ups at the end of previous seasons made by Liverpool. CAS are a very sensible organistation and I fully expect City to be declared the winners.

i dont think,barcelona,or juventus,or paris,or bayern munich or any other team in the world of football that are on top of the league have plans to go to court for their loss ,so at least you can see my side of the arguement,any a lot of people will agree with me,like lets face it ,the world is nearly in lock down,and people are dying ,and a football team want a court case to decide a football title ,how on earth can anyone justify their actions as good people from all over the world are dying,i rest my case for the defense of humanity.

 Having said that if the Premier League season is totally voided does that mean all bets on it will be refunded - I lost plenty on Liverpool finishing Top 4 (already settled) and will lose another load if they go on to win it. YNWA  |
