I've been laying them all season as I could never see why the market rated them a class above everyone else. I think they were close to Evens to begin with when I'd have made them about 10/3. Everything that has happened during the season has convinced me I was right to not see them as anything special at this level but there are still loads of punters who will jump all over any odds against offer.
The other day I was able to lay them @1.57 when they had lost 2 out of 3 and were 0-2 down in the game they didn't lose. Now today they have lost at home to Wigan when most of their rivals won and 1.90 is the most anyone is willing to offer.
IMO it is a coin flip as to whether they finish above West Brom, and there are 3 or 4 teams that might blow past the pair of them.

Magnificent performance and i will forgive Roberts for that glaring miss when it was 0-0 by driving the ball straight at the defender on the line in the centre of the goal from a few yards out when there was half an empty goal to aim at.
I know roach. Had to pause the game as some workmen came around and couldn't believe the miss hence my earlier comments. I have to say though we were very impressive today and showed what we can do to teams when we take our chances. Swansea a different proposition but if we can win I think we are nearly there.
Swansea and Derby away will be a toughies, but its Barnsley and Charlton at home

Got 2 chances this weekend. Derby to beat Brentford OR Leeds to beat Swansea. I'd settle for either.

WBA draw makes Leeds game tomorrow slightly less important. I'd expect Leeds to finish above WBA in the 3 game shoot out,if they lose, given the remaining fixtures. I'd take a draw now.
I hope we stuff swansea, we nearly signed daniel james but their chairman stopped it last minute for some reason
Swansea are no mugs and have a reasonable good chance of still getting into the playoffs. Leeds are favourites for sure, but 1.77? Looks skinny to me.

Went out to do the garden and blanked the TV. Peered through my fingers to get the result on BBC Sport. A tremendous result for us and will have a few wines tonight.
16 years is far to long for a club like Leeds to be out of the big league however much fun its been taking the p*** out of them, it was fun mind, and will miss the banter in that regard
We've been away for over 20 years and its about time we had another crack at it
Leeds, Forest and Brentford for something a bit different will brighten the prem up a bit
Norwich, Bournemouth, Burnley, WBA, even Fulham to some degree just stink the place out, offer nothing in terms of rivalry's and their fans are plain boring as well

I'm all for their on merit but its about time the prem had a good clear out on merit, hopefully Bournemouth join Norwich and somehow Villa catch Watford and dump them back where they belong as well
Next season deduct Burnley 25 points and if they look like doing the impossible deduct them another 50 points just for being Burnley

Thank god he's changed formation back to what was. We looked terrible there for 20 minutes. A very ordinary performance and one of our top goalscorers this year has struck again. Great player that OG.

number 7- it was one of the best 45 mins .We should have been 3 or 4 up at HT.
It was good to see that we had a minutes silence following the death of Jack Charlton.
We got away with that yesterday and how on earth Barnsley did not score in that 20 minute period just after half time as we were wide open in that period as Barnsley played their way through us with ease,thankful for the 3 points and hoping we can finish the job at Derby as going to the last game would be painful.
On a positive note Leeds are 1/2 to be already promoted by the time Derby game comes round.
How could you ever have doubted that, best team by a mile. WBA Ive watched 4 times now and they are a poor team that just got results, now when chips are down they are buckling on the results now, but performance basically the same.

If there's any justice WBA will not get top 2 and they'll bomb in the playoffs, I'm against cheating at the best of times, but I understand the temptation to do it in pressure situations, but what they did in getting a young 18 year old sent off against Derby when the game was won ffs still irks me now, cheating set of wa*kors with no morals whatsoever

You just cant see Brentford dropping points and I'm sure they will go up automatically now. Looks like WBA v Cardiff and Forest v Fulham. Will be shouting for Forest. I always remember when Cloughs side came to Bury and battered Bury 7-0 or 7-1 it was one of the most entertaining skilful sides I had ever seen in my life. The playing surface was one of the best in any league at Bury at that time and boy what football they played. A truly great side under a truly magnificent management pair of Clough and Taylor. What a breath of fresh air they were.
Respect to Bury for not roughing it up try my best, would be easy to do that against us at the time

I like your manager SS. Anything can happen in the play offs. You are better than Cardiff but might be tough against the other two as they have deeper squads. Was at a John McGovern sportsman's do about 12 months ago and had a chat with him about when he was at Leeds at how difficult it was for him at that time and the tales he told when he played under Clough. Top guy and what an achievement to win the European Cup twice on the bounce and be the captain of the side. It just wasn't go to work for Clough at Leeds and I think we drew the short straw.

You're right SS. I think with Taylor at Leeds he wouldn't have insulted the League Champions from the get go. I'm sure they would have succeeded both together but it was written in the stars as to what happened next. Leeds no doubt a tough team but don't think given enough credit for some of the great football we played in that era. We should have won more but we didn't do too bad.

That's one thing us and Derby sort have a common bond on deplas, Cloughie was loved by both and at his memorial service at PP Derby and Forest say side by side, I think our rivalry is more like a pair of brothers bickering rather than it being a nasty one ie West Ham/Millwall

I thought that was so very appropriate given Clough's fantastic achievements at both clubs.
Always a thorn in the side of Liverpool in the late 70's early 80's, one of my most painful and abiding footie memories was when the 'Champions of Europe' flag hanging through the railings at the Kop end, was rolled up after Forest drew 0-0 knocking us out in the first round in 78.

Funny you say that Try ,I was thinking exactly same thing after todays game. Hope not though.
Just think these last 2 seasons have been so exhausting and he's not a young guy he might think that the job he was brought in to do has been done.

Glad to see Forest bottling it big time. Not had a whiff of the Premier League this century. Still living on memories of 40 years ago.
