2-1 FT
Resumed at 3 PM not that anyone in betfair noticed, settled with other participants in the industry. |

I think the 2-1 score is not right?? They give in the scoreline 0-1 15th , 1-1 45+2.
But metropolitano scores yesterday in the first 10 minutes already 1-0 |

looks like they have voided all bets on game cant understand why.
|
|
By:
Because they're muppets. If they were going to void even though it re-started, why did they need to wait a good 24 hours; they could have just voided when the game was abandoned last night.

Disgraceful action from Betfair yet again! I backed a draw at 3.6 and laid off in play at 3.5 which was matched in the first few minutes, they paid out on it last night and sometime during the day they must have voided the lay but settled on the back draw as a loser, how can they get away with doing that?

had conversation with live chat for over an hour, from what i understand all bets placed prior to last nights kick off stand but any bets in play after that will be voided .it does seem harsh on you though.

If a match starts but is later abandoned or postponed and Betfair believes that the match will not have been completed by 23:59 (local time) on its scheduled start date, then all markets, with the exception of any unconditionally determined markets, will be void unless Betfair has knowledge that the match has been rescheduled to be played within three days of its original start date. If Betfair does have knowledge that the game will be played within three days and the game is played within three days, then all bets will stand except if the match is restarted from the beginning. If the match is restarted from the beginning then all bets matched before the market went in-play will stand, but any bets placed in-play will be void, except for any bets placed in-play on markets which have been unconditionally determined, which will stand.
That's pretty clear and does not differentiate between in-play and pre-off bets. |

darlo i placed my bets on sportsbook before last nights kick off but they have voided them i think they should stand.
|

That rule above is for exchange only I think. Though I fully agree with you. Betfair just a law unto itself sometimes; this situation being a key example but they probably get away with it here because it's a league almost completely under the radar.

By:
darlo i agree but i always seem to be on the wrong side when they decide how to settle but thanks anyway.

omg pffff they are void it now... I had a bet over 1.5 goals half time.. It was good and they void it!!!! UNREAL ! a good is oké but void it directly and not 24 hours later when the match is completed!!!!

you should get onto them on twitter about it @betfairCS They are the only competent ones. The guys on chat or the phone etc generally don't understand the rules.
They either have to void all bets on the match on the basis that they did not have knowledge that the match would be replayed within 3 days when the bets were voided - I don't see how they can claim this as they did not void any bets until after the game had fully finished so they had knowledge that the game had not only been replayed but had actually finished by then - or else they have to leave all bets placed pre-off and in-play before the game was abandoned, stand. The game was replayed within 3 days and it wasn't restarted from the beginning, therefore the only issue is whether they had knowledge that it would be replayed within 3 days or not. They either had knowledge and all bets stand or else they didn't have knowledge and all bets are void. It is that simple and you should quote the rule Darlo quoted above and this post to explain it to them when contacting them on twitter and threaten to complain if they don't settle your in-play bet. |
