The Europa League Cup final is in Poland next year. If any team doesn't want to play in Poland.... then they can always relinquish their place in the tournament.Whilst I don't agree with awarding the final to Baku, everyone knew this before the competition started. No point in moaning about it after you get to the final
They probably didn't anticipate that Spurs would be in the Champions League final though,

It probably takes a bit of the gloss off travelling nearly 3,000 miles, knowing your parade is get put back if Spurs actually win the champions league

Presumably Azerbaijan would be very amiable to UEFA breaching their contract with them and not be bothered about the millions they have invested in upgrading infrastructure and preparing for the event.
Sums up the sheer folly of choosing where the final is to be played so well in advance of knowing who the finalists might be.
As always, the fans are soooooooooo unimportant to even register on UEFA's radar.
I hope the stadium is well less than half full. Might even prompt them to take action to avoid this stupidity...............though I very much doubt it.

So the finals for football tournaments should just be 'to be confirmed' and 3 weeks before when they know who the finalists are
