Watford are still standing in the Cup, but I guess most will call it the blues to claim glory, however I think the Hornets will start like a Rocket Man, play like pinball wizards, put their bodies on the line, sacrifice themselves for the cause and then Saturday night will be alright. Huge wager on Hornets on pens so don't go breaking my heart, can see myself going wild clutching the winning slip already thinking someone saved my life tonight as the last pen goes in, looking around for something to cling to like a candle in the wind, then I see Daniel my brother who says they're playing your song we are the Champions and I think to myself, it's gonner be a long long time til I get this feeling again.

Am I alone in thinking that was really boring? I only saw the last 25 minutes, and I have absolutely no interest in watching the previous 65, And have no intention of watching the "highlights" either. A pathetic capitulation from watford and lots of tedious hyperbole about City. Worst Cup Final ever.

Totally agree, games this one sided usually are
I watched Liverpool beat West Ham 6-0 when we were in our pomp and it was the most boring game I had ever seen. The Kop even cheered on West Ham in the second half for some entertainment.

Again he had all the best talent in Portugal, he was able to outspend the others in signing the likes of Deco for example

Moanrinho already inherited a really good set of players at Porto when he took over. According to Transfermarkt website, during his 2 seasons at Porto he signed 38 players! Moanrinho and Pep have inherited really good sides at every club they have been at, but still spent a ton of money on top. Moanrinho signed 133 players for £1.4 billion. And then all these managers who are just as good supposedly but just need a bigger club with better players to inherit and money to spend to show what they can do ?

You can call any manager of a top club a chequebook manager then, especially when they have got job at 3 or 4 top clubs successively like Pep and Jose. That's just modern football, can't criticise them for spending when the money is there. They got those jobs for a reason and numerous other managers who have spent big didn't do nearly as well. Money is only one aspect of football. It is really down to the manager to make the players look worth the money.

Watford were an absolute disgrace. We know City have better players but there is no excuse for not matching them with effort.
Never closed City down, never ran their hearts out. Just sat back and hoped not to get beat 10-0.

manager isn't that important in football anyway it's all about the players.
if you had a team of brooks Koepka, tiger woods and rory mcilroy etc against a team of web.com tour players, would it matter who the manager is? so why should it be any different in football?
