Benfica been in sparkling form of late, and it seems the pressure has got to Porto and they've choked the league

Correct Rider, they thought the game was won. Rio never in the game. 2-0 down with 5 minutes to go and Porto try to shut up shop. These teams will never learn. Best form of defense is attack. A lot of people lost some serious money there. They must be gutted. Deflected shot over Casilas for equalizer.

Porto known for the odd dodgy result - anyone watching confirm? or just the inevitable 1.01 gubbing that crops up....

I've found over the years Porto can be unreliable.

After beating Real Madrid in the 1982/83 European Cup Winners Cup Final (courtesy of Johnny Hewitt's timeless headed winner Excited), Aberdeen were on course for the 1983/84 final when they came up against Porto in the semi-final.

We lost 1-0 in the first leg in Portugal, but Fergie's Red Army were confident of turning over the deficit at Pittodrie in the second leg.

Come the night of the match, there was an eerie sea haar rolling in off the North Sea, and the Dons never really got going, their hopes sunk when Porto scored the only goal of the game.

It was a long and miserable walk home that evening Sad

Always funny when the Scots reminisce about the good times, so far back most of us weren't even born
