Marginal fouls shouldnt be given for penalties, no " marginal " decision should be a game changer. Id change the laws so penalties cant be given just for an innocuous foul but for something clear cut or denying a clear goal scoring opportunity. Penalties being given for balls being blasted at arms is becoming daft making a mockery of the sport

I dont think VAR is as big a problem as the penalty laws in the game currently. You can virtually be sure if VAR flags up a potential pen its given with the world cup last summer resembling a handball contest instead of a football match. That said, even when VAR is used to see if the ball crosses the line like in the Madrid match yesterday they get it wrong

I dont believe in having second teams but if I had one it would be Atletico. Atletico are easily capable of winning the whole thing which would be long overdue.

barca top cheese this year imo, one of the reasons theyve looked 'off' in some games is because nobody is remotely close to them and they are barely lifted a finger.

the last lyon game was a good example of this, something like 70% possession away from home, 25 shots on goal to 4, they came off the park barely breathing or looking like theyd been in a football game.

its possible somebody could catch them cold i guess, complacency is a killer
