They never learn. It takes 3 months to get a team of new signings really playing together and feeling comfortable with each other. A new manager with several new players is a recipe for disaster and the interview with De Zerbi on Saturday night did nothing to encourage me that he understands the scale of the problem. Just hearing that Saar is going along with Danso. Yet more regular starters leaving to be replaced by players who don't know anyone else in the side.

Ili is more of a winger emit, wish he was staying with the Toffees as he is genuinely a guy who gets you off your seat, end product as far as goalscoring is concerned still needs some work but he sets up plenty of chances,  any decent striker will score plenty of goals with him in the side.

You were similar on United last year, the new signings on their own will put them right there just like it did for United last year even with a shocking start and managerial change there was still plenty of time left, the two losses and potentially another tough game against Forest are reinforcing the Spursyness but there is plenty of time for the players to bed in and the quality to begin to take effect.

Spurs are 1.62 top half finish, they should be about 1.2 IMO

Shocking start? Losing 0-1 at home to Arsenal while playing pretty well and 2 points off top 6 after 2 games. They fired their manager when they were in the top 6 too, which is highly unusual.

I don't get where the faith comes from. United added 3 goalscorers and scored 25 more goals and didn't lose anyone important. I don't see where the extra goals are coming from for Spurs and not sure they'll be better at the back either. Maybe wait until they play well and score.

Pool and Newc are also playing more winnable games before Forest v Spurs too so likely the price will be better before they play again.

Price changes after two three or four games are always out of sync with what the actual price should really be, Pool and Newc playing and perhaps winning affecting the price is akin to the lead changing after the first fence in the National and someone over-reacting at that point.

Villa didn't score a goal for five games last season never mind win, Liverpool won their first five.

The stigma attached to Spurs is overly affecting the price and the money they spent is exaggerating it.

I'd be quite happy for Spurs to get turned over at Forest and then be able to get some 4/1-9/2 top 6.

Ok, I made an error posting that stat. Meant goals scored. Must beat Everton at the weekend or things will start to get ugly real quick. DeZerbi has had a full pre-season with most of these players but you'd never guess by the lack of cohesion we're seeing on the pitch. That point earned at the weekend end take them off the bottom of the table and should give everyone involved a huge lift.

A win would lift us up the table and be a nice confidence boost for the lads, heaven only knows where the goals are going to come from though; January could be busy. 1 ray of sunshine was the clean sheet at Forest. The Spursy mindset is something that can only ever be shifted with the kind of investment that happened at Man City.

I can't see De Zerbi lasting too much longer. He will lose the head or the dressing room or both. Might be a good thing but the squad is woeful and the lack of new manager bounce x 3 last season is telling.

Looks grim alright. DeZerbi starting to throw his own players under the bus is a warning sign. This will all blow up for sure by Halloween and we'll be back to square one. He is largely responsible for this mess though....not buying a striker, playing players out of position (Fernandez etc).
