I must admit that I got this completely wrong and I never expected Spurs to get to the final of this competition. They seem to be a completely different team in the Europa than they are in the league.  Anyway, better win the ****ing thing now. I'm not interested in a "heroic defeat".

I think I agree with this. The likes of Romero step up in the Europa. He's not doing it for the manager. It would feel harsh to sack Ange if they win the Europa but you just know he'll start next season poorly and be fired by October or November if he's kept on.

If there's anyone (player) not willing to put a shift in for any manager, then that player's not reliable enough for any club.. imo.

Maddison has always been a ticking timebomb, way too fragile for 90 minutes, especially week in week out...

Apart from a couple of the teams that Man U have beaten, how many of the Europa teams would survive a season in the Premier League? Bod Glimt would struggle in Div 1. Winning the Europa League would be better than losing it but in no way makes up for being 17th in the Premier League.

Absolutely sageform I’m a United supporter and it’s embarrassing the way this game is now been built up the Watney cup back in the 70s would take moor winning both spurs and united are lucky there were 3 teams even more appalling below them .

Went on Sunday, just when you think we can't play any worse-we played appallingly.
How that idiot is still in charge baffles me.
That said, Palace with the exception of Liverpool and City were the best I'd seen, and were excellent all round, in attack and defence.
I must have a small bet on them this weekend as they were far superior to Villa, Forest etc.
Mind you, they have a manager who knows the time of day unlike our barely there incumbent.

What I would say and I’m a lifelong united supporter both these outfits have absolutely no chance of finishing above the likes of palace,Brentford and Brighton next season probably avoid relegation but any notions of a top 4 finish would be laughable.

Bad luck jimnast, but you've been winning silverware for a few years now; we're long overdue. I'm glad we met you this year. I wouldn't even think about next season yet, there's a summer window to negotiate and anything could happen. Utd will always attract players, that's a given and Spurs in the CL should boost our chances too. Long way to go until next season starts... both our teams need a breather now.

At the end of the day, Ange has out performed every single Spurs manager including Poch.. In the fact he has delivered a trophy!

Also, The squad is poor.. Son, Richarlison, Madders and probably Kulusevski all great players (the Stars) but from here on in, not able to perform for 90 minutes per week let alone 2 x 90 minutes..

Van de Ven is the key man. What ever the forwards and midfielders have done this season, the back 4 have undone by terrible defending and when Van de Ven and Romero are absent, they usually lose. Son was very good when playing with Kane but has been a shadow of that this season and looks very slow now. Udogie, Spence, Johnson and Porro have all established a place. Solanke to me is very disappointing and new strikers have to be the priority for the summer.

How really embarrassing to lose 4-1 to Brighton to complete a truly awful season. Either they played out of their skin in Bilbao or the other contenders for the Europa Cup are not Premier League standard. They only just managed to beat MU after all and they are barely Premier League standard themselves. Spurs should be able to afford to buy a few players but their record in the transfer market in the past 5 years is woeful.

This turned out to be a wonderful season.... a major cup AND Champions League qualification. More than anyone here could've hoped for. Just don't look at the league table.

Aspro, you'd take Frank over Ange?  I think it would go the same way as Nuno and I don't see frank being a good fit.

I had 2 choices in my head and Frank was one of them; the other was Glasner. Both would do a better job than Coco imo. We need someone like Poch, who can make an average side tick and has PL experience. They both tick that box.

Frank seems a thoroughly decent manager and person.

Thomas Frank @2/5 to be next manager - this is a man who has won zero trophies at senior level.  Jose, Conte, Poch & now Ange all gone.  What do Spurs want from a manager?

Jose has his own agenda and is/was too egotistical. Conte and Levy were never going to see eye-to-eye. Poch (wrongly) thought he was better than us and Ange was just a clown. We're never getting a Pep, Klopp or an Enrique; they're a cut above us, so we need to look for someone promising, like a said earlier... another Poch who is ready to step up. Frank looks like he wants it. What can Spurs get from a manager?

Frank may be a bit hasty, but he's not the worst and (imo) is worth a shot.

Ok, I'm on the Frank train. Let's make it happen this week rather than dragging on for half the summer. I can see Ange ending up at the likes of West Am next season. If he can bring Spurs from top 6 to 17th then he's more than capable of getting a mid-table team relegated.
