Clever pass inside right back instant cross converted by Williams, offside given as cross went in. Was clearly onside, but var did nothing. Gave free kick for offside. Very odd, and making a joke out of the new foolproof system.
The problem with var is there’s so many different scenarios that haven’t been even thought of yet. Footballs already a minefield for officials. This is supposed to help, but is full of its own complications. Should just use for goal line technology etc.

We don't want to see good goals chalked off which is happening frequently in the European leagues when VAR check and the strikers toe is a centimetre offside, there needs some tolerance built in as when VAR see offside by a centimetre this may not even be correct due to camera angle etc, just like in cricket when its umpires call i suggest that to overturn the refs decision for example VAR over ruling a goal due to minuscule offside then this should only be done when it is absolutely clear and obvious offside and the attacking team is given the benefit of doubt and we stay with the refs decision this will stop minutes being wasted watching endless slow motion replays to spot an attacker offside by such small margins.
