Just got kicked in the back of the leg I’m sure he could have stayed on his feet but didn’t really dive just fell over didn’t go shouting for a penalty but I can see why people would get upset and emotional about it

Apologies donny if you aren't a spurs fan, for some reason I have you down as one.

I think he's gone to ground a couple of times in the box too easily this season but only 1 of the pens v Newcastle was soft, the others were goofy defenders doing goofy defending.That's an honest assessment, Mo will only do himself and the team more damage in the long run if he goes over too easy as he won't get the stone wallers as often as should be the case.

In his first season he was completely honest and probably could/should have gone down more in the box.

Some analyst was probably not happy with the lack of pens we were getting and told him to go down more with any contact, think we went about a year remarkably at home without getting a decision.

And Liverpool are not "much much better" than Spurs. Spurs have finished ahead of Pool in 8 of the last 9 seasons. Pool chose to spend a quarter of a billion quid in the summer while Spurs chose to stand still so more than likely that will be 8 from 10 seasons after this season is over.

However you want to se that it was after a period of being held and that as I'm aware is not allowed and certainly persistent grappling like that should always be punished and with VAR there's basically no chance defenders will be getting away with fouls like that.

I don't like VAR for slowing up the game, but if it's going to help clean up this type of 'professional' fouling in the box, and deter players from diving or trying to cheat and con the ref whether attacker, goalie or defender then I am all for it.
