Of course they were, thats why i opened an account with them, but i never arb, no point in backing a horse i fancy at there best price, then laying it back to someone else and paying 5% for the pleasure.

I just think it's a great load of aggravation for a point or two and then having your account closed and in some cases having to provide numerous forms of identification to get your money.

I learned much too late that steering clear of the nags keeps your accounts alive for much longer. Even backing a loser that shortens leads to your card being marked.

OP could always use one of mega88's work around's when it comes to dealing with these kind of firms. Either never bet on odds higher than 1.20, in which case you'll never make any profit and the book in question will know you're a mug, or his most favoured technique, where you don't even place bets, just lie about it on here
