theyd have gone down with ranieri in charge, the only people who were sad to see him leave leicester were media lovies who profited from the romance of their success and the idiots who listen to them.

i can explain to you what it is about his that made him a success one year and a failure next if you like but i worry the knowledge could well be considered too dangerous for the football forum.

Its his uniquelyly calm and relaxed temperament, he was the only manager in the world whos presence and attitude could take all the pressure of his players by constantly telling them everythings easy and ok.  Combine that with a very talented squad, no european football and the rest having sh1t seasons and you have the recipe for success.  Without Ranieri and with all the other factors that lead to them winning with ease, somebody like Pearson would have only finished about 6th or 7th, as the side would be bottling under pressure in big games as the manager over reacts to results/goals.

Ranieri has been the same in every job, its a recipe for disaster when fighting relegation, even when things arent working anymore hes telling everyone its ok and to carry on.  Hes the perfect man for a settled team and tactics that work but theres no plan B when it doesnt.

So this " very talented squad" whose total cost was next to nothing by premiership standards could have won the title under any top flight manager. Guardiola, Mourinho and Klopp would easily have done the same with that budget?

Leicester City won the premier league ! ..a fantastic achievement , of which Ranieri has to take a lot of the credit for .....I think its a shame theres so little loyalty in football nowadays

When Leicester became Champions of England, was that the same season that Tottenham come 3rd in a 2 horse race ?

What's Tottenham got to do with anything?

Sparrow the fact you correlate talent/cost, plus ignored that I used the word unique to describe Ranieris attitude tells me youre a potless mug and I can disregard your thoughts.
Report sparrow May 9, 2018 7:00 PM BST
The only mug on this thread is the one who thinks Leicester's achievement in winning the title by 10 points is down to the manager telling them it all would be easy and ok.
