Bullying, harassment and being downright unpleasant is not what the Betfair forum is about and will not be tolerated.

i wonder what their plans are after brexit?no announcements yet.i think the EU have plans in the pipe line for a financial transaction fee on all bank transactions moving from one country to another.and i wonder who will end up paying it.that will be another few % subtracted if its passed .
|
|
By:
and if it is passed its 1.01 that the receiver of the money that will be charged in my opinion. And with paddy being the main shareholder with 53% of the total shares in paddypower/betfair its another 1.01 that it will be classed as an irish company in my opinion once again.i suppose nobody knows what will happen but plan b would have to include software at the ready if it comes to pass.so everyone is in the dark.

brassneck - I've told you this before but you are obv too thick to absorb it.
There is no longer such a thing as a Paddy Power or a Betfair shareholder. Just PaddyPowerBetfair shareholders in the company that is Irish. |

dave,i dont recall you telling me that, but why are you so upset,i was conversing with the posters above and you come on the thread attacking me about something i never heard about, and its no big deal if the shareholders are merged ,it will still go down against the the top buck cat who's named as owner of the limited company or not limited company.
its not a secret that they have merged, and its France that has proposed the financial transaction fee and it will be for all financial companies not just gambling companies. chill out dave (mate) i am only talking about what is in the papers this 2 years. |

By:
and for you information Germany have backed France,s proposal ,so there are not many european countries going to argue with the big two once the UK leave.imvho

That'll put a spanner in the works of the ever so smooth brexit negs. They'll prob grind to a halt now as they iron out this (unforeseen) problem - luckily it is the only unforeseen problem on the UK's part so that's alright then.....

Hamsterdam - been a Betfair account holder for many years but obviously new to the forum. Years ago we had a WhatsApp group doing some arbing when the days of that avenue were available for some extra $. A handful of members in that group have recently come back to play and found the only Betfair email address active is the escalations@betfair.com one.
And those that have used it to contact Betfair have been closed down. Very very bizarre. |

havent got a clue what you are on about ??? have you thought about asking betfair themselves. ?? ....

|

i dont know donny as i have never had need to use the help desk, i just thought it strange to post a query on here without
consulting them first, and yes i can imagine if like any other large company its not an easy process.! |
|
By:
i agree with you glasgow, 100%
i had some issues about bets, i thought they had given up helping me, then a month or so later i got an email sorting it out i do phone them from time to time when they get stuff wrong far better than random assistance by email |
|
By:
5 years or so ago, the forum may have been a decent plaice to ask if folk
suffered similar issues, but theres not that many around these days some folk possibly scan forum and post on other forums so as to protect their info, maybe they are the helpers op is seeking |
|
By:
Can you still get them by phone ? I haven't had to try for years tbf but I got the impression you had to be on Twitter with Trump these days.
|
|
By:
i think i have them blocked on twitter, too much spam .....
|
|
By:
I use Chat,far cheaper,and instant response.

@ brassneck loath that I am to continue your off topic drivel
the financial transaction tax doesn't cover gambling or simple transfers in any case it would be trivial to set up a subsidiary in the uk and btw 15% of UK players commission goes straight to the Treasury, which is far more significant. |
