Is he worth a dabble at 20s?

The board may be thinking to themselves "Wenger was so unpopular in the end, and subsequently so were we, let's make a very popular choice by bringing in a club legend".

Wouldn't be surprised, no idea if he'd cut the mustard though, would rather an experience manager with history of winning trophies atm, Paddy in maybe a few years.

Could also been Henry, both have touted themselves for the job.

Viera has the charisma and presence of a rock.

The mans a joke in the mls, sits on the touchline playing on his ipad while david villa manages the team wearing number 7, he'd have been sacked long ago in a competitive environment where results matter.

Performances matter I should say, results in the mls are decided pre season Grin

I was hoping Bayern would go through, Madrid was sack Zidane, and he'd be the manager.

Can't believe Arteta is 2nd fav. Somebody having a laugh.

He was a boring sideways player and seems like a quiet, uninspiring person as well, it would be one of the least popular choices amongst the fans, and would make the board as unpopular as they already are, would be surprised if they hired him.

There isnt enough on vieras cv as manager to get the job, absolutely no chance

It's interesting reading the comments on news sites.  There are a lot of people who appear to think Wenger should be manager for life. Crazy

Just get Henry in, he'll have the Zidanne effect. No one will question him everyone will respect him.

Well the papers think he is the CEO's choice, that is why. Doesn't make sense really why he would be, but explains prices.

For me one of the indicators of a good manager that can actually be measured in results is how they start games, what motivation and purpose do they bringinto a match before on-field events change things.  NYC have one of the worst records in the mls for conceding first, especially at home, which is mental given the advantage they have over sides who arent used to playing in a baseball stadium, the leagues home bias and the fact they have better players than most sides.

They kicked every home game odds on last year and conceded first in over half, the side come out sleepwalking and look as bored as Viera does.

the reason the board want arteta is they want a small fish who  won't rock the boat looking for big funds

It would be acceptable to pay Arteta less than someone like Luis Enrique.

Arsenal win the league next season.  Aubameyang and Lacazette get 55 league goals between them.
