Liverpool are the most entertaining side to watch in the Premier League, unfortunatly for them, their defence is very average. Expect Liverpool to win and reckon on a 1-3 2-3 final score.

Cheating fker, great start by Palace, I felt in my bones we could get something out of this game. Even point would be priceless but 3 would be manna from heaven COYP.

On our day Crisp we can be a handful for any side, our next 6 games upto the end of the season all look potential points for us, none of the big guns. I've always said we will be safe and like you say, Roy needs to get us more strength in depth as when we had that hideous run of injuries the squad looked very exposed.

This game just about sums up our season, a case of ifs and buts. Palace were more than equal to Liverpool, just one of those Benteke chances to go in and we are in front and in for at least a point. Very, very disappointing indeed.

Talking out of my pocket, I backed the sending off at HT after 4 yellows in the first half. I cannot for the life of me understand the ref's refusal to send Mane off. It's the sort of error which should result in intervention from the Referees' Association and Mr Swarbrick spending a while in the lower levels of the league. Any financial loss I suffered could pale into insignificance if that decision costs Palace their Premiership place.
Talking merely about the laws of the game, how could Mane not have been sent off? His first yellow was bad enough (I feel that diving should in any event result in a straight red card) but the decision after the handball was disgraceful. Not merely that it was deliberate handball while the ball was in play, but the circumstances under which he handled it. We see far too much of this grabbing the ball by a player either believing he has been fouled or alternatively unsure if has been fouled, but wanting to leave the ref feel he has no alternative but to blow for a foul. I feel it fell into the second category, in other words a second act of cheating by the same player. Even if it wasn't blatant cheating, it was an undeniable yellow card offence and he should have been sent off. I seem to recall a player previously being sent off for a second yellow in identical circumstances, so yet another case of inconsistency. A statement from the Referees' Association would not go amiss.
