Hi, will be in Naples on hols and thinking of going to the home game v Chievo.  Will be wife and 9yo boy. Obvious question is safety? best place to sit for a family? what entrance? etc. Would love to see the match.

Any advice much appreciated.

Depending on timescales, I'd go to the club's main reception and ask in person if I were in your shoes.  You might even get an invite as a guest if you play your cards right Excited

The question of safety is "how long is a piece of string?" Inside the stadium is probably as safe as anywhere in Napoli because the seats are non-transferable allocations (you'll need ID).

Buying tickets in person at the Galleria Umberto seems better advice than buying online because the Napoli website will direct you to a complicated process at listicket.com:

Avoid the "Curvas" (the cheapest tickets) because that would put you in with the full-on ultras. Sitting in the "Distinti" will probably provide the most memorable experience for your boy although the "Tribuna" is the most family friendly.

Avoid behind both goals curva A & B, you'll be fine in the stand same side as the dugouts, plenty of kids in there.  Been Italy a few times for football and had a blast, head to Rome mostly and Lazio games.  There fans seem to love the English, it's Roma that want to stab everyone in the ass Laugh
