it does not matter how or when you reach the summit, just be careful with every bet you place."we all get a gut feeling when we see one that should win."so its best to wait for that gut feeling and keep your discipline until it arrives

gib,if you have two mountaineers its not so bad if one falls of the mountain(its bad but you are still on the mountain)so as you go up an idea is to divide your stake. i am not telling you what to do i am just putting an idea into your head. you are the mountaineer with the most experience ,and you have found yourself in high positions many times, but you have to agree with me,small steps gets you closer so be careful.

The Nepalese Met Office has blamed global warming for the recent freak weather conditions on Everest. Whilst the summit is bathed in sunlight and is currently 25C, the basecamp has been hit by hurricane type snowstorms which in turn have triggered numerous avalanches. "I have never seen so many climbers die before leaving their tents" said a spokesman for the Nepalese side of the mountain, Sherpa Cashraceisinplay.

Well, that was a close shave - again! 93rd minute goal saved my bacon in Brechin.
Bet 7 > £25 TNS win vs Dumbarton in the Scottish Challenge Cup semi-final @ 1.51, leaving £11.64 for Ron.
Game's on S4C, if interested.

Stiffed myself good and proper last night. 1-0 up with 20 to play and TNS were all over Dumbarton, albeit with problems finishing. Muggins here was sitting comfortably on an £8 green but was waiting for £10 ... then BANG 1-1 (cracking goal, btw). Did I retire with a wee loss? Nae danger! Held on and lost the lot in a 2-1 win for the Sons of the Rock.
I risked the lot on a measly extra £2? Wot a greedy little plonka I wos! Will I ever learn?
Good thing is, Ron is holding £11.64 freeeeeeeeeeeee muneeeeeeeeeee for me in case of such a scenario.
Eyal B. Bakke, Ron.

I reckon a guy needs 38 steps @ 1/5 starting with 10 quid to collect the 10 thousand sack of beans on the summit.so 38 consective 1/5,s and the 10,000 beans are yours. can YOU do it?

when you get to 200 quid you could divide into 20 mountaineers and send the whole team up.Surely at least one of the mountaineers would defy the odds and take home the sack of beans.

when we get up near the top of the mountain trilby ,they will all start climbing for 10,000 quid.they will start to realise its so simple to make 10 grand. **** luck on your bet.

in fact is a guy got to the top and collected his 10,000 he could then send one thousand 10 quid climbers/mountaineers up to get a few more sacks of beans.

I did, fair play to inverness for trying everything they could to make a contest of it, it wasnt fair first half as the norn iron lads maybe didnt know there was going to be a somme reinactment event on the pitch this morning

I only caught the last 10 mins or so but witnessed a disallowed norniron goal, a pen, a fight, a red and a shockingly poor shot for the pen. Some game!

hectic finish but it wouldnt have been very sporting to just see put a comfortable 3-0 lead, im surprised we didnt chuck a couple in ourselves near the end

probably palmerston or fir park, no way itll be at hampden with the number of folk going, even when rangers made the final a couple of years ago they only played it at easter road.
would expect perth, falkirk or airdrie, somewhere in the middle

My father, Jinky Snr, sadly plummeted to his death a few days ago.....a mere 16 feet from base camp.
He left me in his will £10, the password to this account and a note saying "Climb the mountain for me, son. You only have to double this £10 ten times in a row and my spirit will rest in peace. And don't bet on any Argentinian games, they're well shady"
I'm doing this for you, dad.

Looks like Jinky jinxed you there, Brassicle. How's yer bonce? You know the script mate, nice cuppa tea and a hobnob and you'll be back up in no time
Good to see my mountaineers made it back safely from their European travels - one even stopped in Blackburn on his way to The Rock, where the Sons entertain the Ton tonight. He's got £20 on a Morton win @ 2.04
The other lad's down at The Bridge tonight and has laid Barça for £12.99 @ 2.22 for £10.67 thus far and will be looking to get further involved in-play.
Where's your £10 going Jinkie?

He left a note on the kitchen table telling me he was off to fulfil his late father's dream.
He also left a book. The Ruins by Scott Smith. I've just read it and it's about a mountain that is actually a living organism and eats people who climb it.
I have no idea what this means.....
