Everything a model football club should be. Amazing achievement in the last 6 years and dont forget when football was a level playing field in terms of wages they along with Spurs were the top 2 clubs in England. Always a Claret and so proud of being part of something very special.

Having a fantastic season and a role model for all other smaller clubs on how to be run. Used the Premiership money wisely and stuck to their principles throughout. Seem to be able to sell their supposed best players, but carry on regardless. In Sean Dyche they are lucky to have found a top drawer manager as well. I'm amazed that he hasn't moved on yet and cashed in whilst his stock his high. Why Everton thought he wasn't good enough for them will be forever one of life's mysteries!!

Good to see this club still prospering as I remember them being the top club in this country. Winning the title and reaching the quarter finals of the European Cup in the early 60s and producing many great young players.

Plenty of people recognise the achievement of Dyche but the key for me has been his signings and the method of finding players. Clearly it is far from just being about ability and price but more about attitude and character. When you see the team role up at the ground you wont see headphones and blank stares from ego trippers,you will see well dressed, focused but crowd engaging players acting like professional sports men.

Again, watch the warm ups, very little playing about,just focused players doing what they are paid to do. With the odd exception goal celebrations are fairly subdued and conventional by modern standards. Discipline on the field has been superb under Dyche despite being on the receiving end of plenty of awful decisions. With the exception of when we looked like qualifying for the Europa League via the Fair Play ratings our bookings and sending offs are well below the average despite being under pressure for long periods in many games.

I think the reason for the lack of approaches for Dyche are the suspicions that he would upset the agents and players at the highest levels. There are no egos at Burnley. He also needs to show that he could attract the top level players, this season Defour has been brilliant as has the Iceman but the top four have 15 plus foreigners in their squad. With the budget at Burnley he will never sign players at the absolute top so he will always remain a bit of a punt at the highest level.

It gets tough from now on as the media and some fans have expectations that wont be met. The position although deserved is in many ways unsustainable as the squad is already under massive pressure with injuries.The January window will probably only see slight activity, top class players do not fit into the wage structure or in most cases the amazing culture at the club.

As a fan who witnessed the Orient game this is a time to savour and be grateful that our amazing club remains in such good hands on and off the field. Burnley FC in the Community do outstanding work throughout the year, not the token Xmas hospital visits conducted by some of the EPL clubs, real  projects delivering tangible benefits. For example, Danny Ings who left the club for Liverpool still continues his work with disabled children and visits the club whenever possible.

The future will probably see us finish mid table and realistically that would be fine. The key for me is that the club resists foreign investment and ownership and keeps within sensible financial constraints. Having seen the club in every division that would be fine although the dream of a European adventure in 2018 remains possible and the everyone at Turf Moor will give that 100%, it is no more than a dream.

Hope they get in the Champions League, just to put some the so-called big clubs noses out of joint.

I think we would cause a big problem at Turf Moor to any club in Europe. Can you imagine the Barca coach driver tapping in Turf Moor Burnley to start with in his Sat Nav.

Sadly he'll get labelled as a manager who can only coach 'poorer' players and therefore won't be courted by bigger clubs.

The question to be asked is whether the managers with their massive budgets at the top clubs could do as well at Burnley on that club's budget.

as it stands I think Dyche and Pep are neck and neck for Manager of the year, undoubtedly Pep will get it 'cos of the unlimited budget and inevitable trophies but Dyches work is every bit as sensational. Whether they can end up top 6 I doubt but it would be brilliant for the little man and every Manager and club not in the Premiership.

If the season ended today I'd give it to Sean Dyche.  Burnley in 6th and averaging 1.82 points per game is more impressive than a club like Man City winning the league.

Dyche and Burnley have done well recently and over the last few years. They deserve all the plaudits they are getting. The hard part is sustaining it for the next few years. That will not be so easy.

A fabulous achievement but they absolutely stink the place out with their brand of football. I hate them.

Pep will defo get manager of the year. For starters Burnley will fall off a bit, tough upcoming fixtures, they won't actually finish top 6 by the end of the season, and secondly Pep is probably going to break the points record for which he will almost certainly get it.

You can hardly blame Burnley for their style of football, it's the modern game, the gulf is so massive between the have's and have not's they should be applauded for finding a way to compete on their crowds and budget.

Play an expansive game and get mullered every week or play it tight against the bigger teams and end up in 6th? It's a no brainer really. A begrudging well done to them.

Well, I can't be bothered to look it up, but I'm sure Conte cut his teeth at a smaller team before Juventus. Klopp at Mainz, Guardiola coached Barcelona II. Although I think people like Guardiola deserve to be fastracked, based on their playing career, as opposed to sean Dyche whom I can't even remember who he played for. So, yes, I'm sure they could. Could Dyche go to Man City and have them eleven points clear and playing the best football in Europe?

When it comes to punting JC1326 we live and learn. If you had backed the odds on Chelsea and Arsenal against West Ham then you had not learnt from the earlier game between Man City and West Ham.

Managing is about doing the best for your team and being the best they can in order to obtain as many points as possible. Therefore Dyche is doing a tremendous job for his club. Are Liverpool, Arsenal and Utd fans as happy and content with the Managers in charge and the results produced?

As a Burnley fan I think this idea we park the bus is total nonsense. Sure there have been plenty of games where the level of possession is low but as nonaynever says the gulf in quality is massive if you play an expansive game. This season Cork has added a great deal of poise and quality to the midfield, Defour has linked  the defence to midfield and has been like a new signing.

Quite simply we are playing a better brand of football effectively. Of course the defence does come under siege at times and bodies are chucked all over the place to get through difficult periods and we have 2 outsdtanding keepers.

The reality that sets this club aside on the field is a total lack of entitlement. Every they have achieved is earnt by hard work and honest endeavour and discipline. It staggers me when people moan about everything in life and expect everything for nothing take aim at this wonderful club who go about there business so well with limited resources.

Probably the most blatant penalty in the history of soccer denied. So obvious and a sending off yet nothing given, not even simulation. The conspiracy continues.

Love the way Burnley play. As a team, play to strengths, respect opposition but show no fear. Don't see Burnley players turning their back and cowering when someone kicks a ball in their direction. As for yesterday's penalty, Bambidele Jermaine Alli would still be writhing around on the deck clutching various body parts but the Burnley lads just forget it and carry on.
