sorted. banks fraud team stopped my transactions. thought i was laundering money with my massive transactions.

didn't know check was reduced to  £25    ha ha

The same thing has just happen to me. Nothing has changed since I joined in sept 2002. How do I get in touch with the fraud team?

Sorted. I didn't read Greg_Gory's post properly.  It was my Banks'  fraud team not betfair's. Without appearing to be boastful, it is about 2 years since I deposited anything and the bank's fraud team saw it as an unusual pattern. They blocked it to protect me.

how can u launder money when it is paid through a bank ?

Thanks to everyone involved in advising me on this matter. The only reason for mentioning the long period since last depositing was to explain why the bank found it suspicious. They acted in my interests.

The amusing putdown about laying a horse at £2 to win 2p reminded me of a thread on the General Betting forum about 15 years ago. It was shown that only the layers who were consistently first to get 1.01 in horserace in-running showed a profit.
