I reckon bookies odds would be 1/6 yes, 9/2 no. I'm fairly sure he will go and although Madrid are supposedly offering £150,000,000 Spurs say they wont take less than £200,000,000. The fact that Spurs are quoting a price makes me think there be some compromise, perhaps £175,000,000.
As Zidane says....''he is the complete player'. And I concur with that. Best English player since God knows when. Either way, good lick Harry because players like yourself are few and far between.

inmo he,s not goodenough,he is ideal for the hurly burly of the EPL but against much more technically gifted players he comes up short,goal apart he hardly got a touch against Slovenia,he was woeful in the last Eoropean internationals as was Deli Ali.

Real Madrid doubt Kane's Galactico credentials ahead of UCL showdown
Harry Kane is in the spotlight as Tottenham visit Real Madrid for Tuesday's Champions League Group H clash, with fans and pundits around the Bernabeu eager to see if the England centre-forward can justify the hype. There's speculation that Madrid president Florentino Perez and his advisers have been impressed by Kane's outstanding form for club and country, and added him to their list of targets. Jorge Calabres, director of popular fan website ElBernabeu.com, told ESPN FC that Kane's 15 goals in 14 games so far in 2017-18 (including five in two in the Champions League) had not gone unnoticed in the Spanish capital. "If Kane keeps up his level, then of course Madrid will be interested," Calabres said. "He is the big sensation of the season so far. I see him as one of Madrid's big targets for next summer, although it will be awkward due to his price and the difficulties of getting players out of Tottenham. I would like him for Real Madrid, no doubt about that. Zinedine Zidane's team are missing his type of player." Madrid socio Isaac Morillas maintains that Kane, 24, has done well for Tottenham so far but still has a way to go before being seen as true Galactico class. "Kane is still pretty unknown," Morillas says. "His name has been mentioned, but personally I see him as a good forward who stands out in a middle-ranked team, outside the European elite. "The majority of people I've talked to think that way too. Nobody doubts he is a good player, but there is big gap from there to being world class. And for the price being talked about, he would have to be a world class star." Jaime Rodriguez covers Madrid for Spain's El Mundo newspaper, and he says that Tuesday's game and the return at Wembley on Nov. 1 gives Kane a chance to properly introduce himself to Madrid supporters and decision-makers. "I believe Madrid fans do not yet know him well," Rodriguez says. "These two games will be key. If he shines, he will join the list of possible forwards who Madrid could be interested in. For the moment, the club has made no movement for him." Morillas reckons that showing the attributes of a traditional English No. 9 would not be enough to interest the Bernabeu. "Kane would have to show a goal-scoring instinct, strength and pace," he says. "But also that he is good on the ball and understands the play. If he is [just] a classic English No.9, I doubt that his signing would really be considered by Madrid. "Being English helps him. We know how the British market has interested the club with Jonathan Woodgate, David Beckham, Michael Owen and Gareth Bale. "But it is difficult to see Madrid paying up to €100 million for him. That would be the price Tottenham would ask for sure, they are always a tough negotiator. Although if he shone at the World Cup next summer, anything is possible." Should Kane keep up his impressive goal-scoring rate, and stand out in Russia next summer, his price-tag will keep increasing. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy using the record sum of £198 million which Paris Saint-Germain paid for Neymar last summer as a benchmark looks likely. Calabres recalls that Perez has declined to get involved in auctions in past summers, looking on as Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe joined Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain respectively. "The transfer policy at Madrid is to not get into battles for astronomical sums with teams from the Premier League or PSG," he said. "That makes it very difficult, given Kane's price-tag. The decision of the player himself also counts a lot, although Levy has already shown he does not see that as a reason to sanction a sale." The feeling in Spain is that he has not yet quite done enough to be seen as a future Galactico. But a lot could change between now and next summer. |

A decent result for Spurs imo. As for Harry I would take the Real Madrid offer if it transpires. Let him prove he's capable of playing for the top club in the world. I doubt if he will pick up any major silverware with Spurs.

Great goal scorer so I suppose that is all that matters, but IMO he is dependant on decent supply, he couldn't pick the ball up deep and beat players before firing it into the net, he nowhere near the top bracket for me, you need to really be the complete player for that and he can't run particularly quick or head the ball!!

imo kane lacks a bit of pace for madrid, however you cannot fault his finishing based on chance quality credentials, since the start of last season his league goals compared to xG are way better than the man he'd replace ronaldo

i think a lot of you are thinking you have to do something particularly eye catching to be considered a great player like have blinding pace or do like tricks like a performing seal on the ball. no he doesn't have any of that but what he does he does phenomenally well
as rider points he scores a lot of more of his chances than he's entitled to. he's a superbly accurate finisher often finding the corner and the ball ending up in the side netting giving the keeper no chance. you can't argue with his numbers. they are just brilliant. every question he's been asked in the last 3 years he keeps answering take the 2 goals at huddersfield. alright a pub you might say but both goals required precision and power to beat the keeper and he did it with different as for the chances of him leaving any time soon all i'll say is daniel levy hasn't spent 10 years planning and building the new ground to allow his marquee player the talisman of the side to leave just as we're moving in whatever figures are bandied about |

I put my views over as a long standing spurs man last week and as much as a few fellow spurs won't agree Im with the above that chance was a big moment and thats the difference between doing it against Huddersfield and winning the game in Madrid

kane has relatively limited experience in the CL and big games for that matter but with more experience would do it at any level imo
just had a look at the CL stats for ronaldo and he only scored 4 goals in his first 33 CL appearances for manu, so far kane has scored 7 in 6 CL games RM would be a better team with kane |

The OP had the odds around the wrong way.
Having been a life long supporter who has sat in an antiquated stadium and seen some of the rubbish played earlier; I would think it is extremely unlikely he will be going to Spain anytime soon. Dele Ali is a different kettle of fish...... |

Also i don't think Kane would be interested in leaving unless Spurs made no progress for 2 years .
With the money being bandied about, Kane might not have that big a say in the matter. Plus he would be a huge asset for Madrid. |

Spurs have no inclination to sell their best players , unless they want to leave ( and even then they will drive a very hard bargain , certainly won't be dropping the asking price )
Kane won't want to go for a good while yet, if ever . Real do not value pure goalscorers that highly anyway , their approach is to have a football version of the Harlem Globetrotters that will create so many easy chances that you don't need a specialist finisher on the end of them. |

think he would die on his árse at RM if he goes there this season or next. He wouldn't be seen as anything special there by the players or fans and wouldn't make an impact to justify the fee. Would have less of an impact than Bale has and would be shipped out eventually, bit like Micheal Owen.
BTW Zidane complimented him before they played in the CL which shouldn't be read into, it's a common thing managers do before a big game called mind-games. Zidane also said Bale was 'a complete player' a month earlier when out of form and getting stick from the fans. Pinch of salt and Zidane prob won't be there too long the way they are playing. He'd be an idiot to go to RM while Ronaldo is still there, he'd be jealous of him and undermine him, like he did with the proposed mbappe transfer. Ronaldo wants to break as many records as he can before he retires and doesn't want any big names getting in the way of that. |

With all due respect it wont be up to Ronaldo to decide if Kane moves to Madrid or not. I'm fairly sure he might have some clout but if Madrid are willing to break the transfer record I doubt if Spurs will stand in his way. This is all hypothetical by the way but if Madrid did make a move Kane will have to have a long look in the mirror and ask himself what his ambitions are. |

Not so sure Ronaldo won't have any say in it. There are already stories saying he has expressed concerns about transfers because it will get in the way of him winning the ballon d'or. Mbappe transfer an example. All rumour but he is the main man still at real and the board don't want him upset
