85 days at Inter.

77 days at Palace.

Is he not very good?
Report 1st time poster September 11, 2017 4:20 PM BST
to be fair he,s got idea,s he wants to stick to which both inter and palace bought into at his interview then bottled it when results didn't go well, onlt thing for certain is that within 12 to 18 months woy will be on his way and palace will want a new manager with a different style to woys [bored to death ],who no,s they might even go back for frank
Report Ibrahima Sonko September 11, 2017 4:35 PM BST
Crazy, Palace employ a manager who clearly is going to play a slow dutch possession game and when he does that he then gets sacked. Takes more than 5 games for players to adjust imo.
Report Yahoo September 11, 2017 5:33 PM BST
Must have been a right Boer
Report SlippyBlue September 11, 2017 5:37 PM BST
I fear the worst for us this season. I could not possibly back Palace to get relegated but I truly fear that may well be our fate.Sad
Report the_don September 11, 2017 6:24 PM BST
Crazy in that they gave de Boer the transfer window and started to develop a new style of play and method for the whole club and panicked when it didn't work immediately.

Can only think player power has pushed him out, some of them looked not bothered at times and it's easier and cheaper to fire the manager than bin off several players.
Report TheBaron September 11, 2017 6:43 PM BST
At what age do these managers think its time to retire?  In his last England press conference Hodgson seemed like he was ready for a trip down Dolally Alley.

he certainly looked totally bewildered standing on the touchline during that iceland game
Report 1st time poster September 11, 2017 7:08 PM BST
does he no its part of his EPL contract to turn up for press conferences after a defeat. LaughLaugh
Report loui September 11, 2017 7:49 PM BST
Got to give him 3 months at least or everyone wants you relegated for being knee jerk knobs
Report SlippyBlue September 11, 2017 7:57 PM BST
Parish has got a lot to answer for for that sacking. He was never given a chance, not many of the Palace fans wanted him to go, he never got a chance. Now it looks like we will be getting Roy Sad
Report loui September 11, 2017 9:34 PM BST
The cash involved in the premiership makes it a high stakes game staying in it, but don't see the point getting a boss in like DeBoer if they're not going to give him the time to get them playing his way
Report 1st time poster September 11, 2017 9:40 PM BST
exactly you can go down and come back if you believe in the manager, fighting relegation every year is the alternative great for the moneymen shoite for the fans
Report Cork Langer September 11, 2017 10:29 PM BST
A truly awful decision from Parish, which will only be surpassed should he stupidly choose to appoint 70 year old Roy who offers nothing long term, and a diet of boredom short term at best, taking us back many steps in the process.

FDB should have been given the next four games at least, to see if there was any improvement, seeing as the opposition is Soton, Utd, City and Chelsea it would have been an uphill task but at least something that could be measured, Roy will now be given those games without any expectations or pressure so anything he may obtain will be seen as an improvement and false proof for Parish that his decision was fully justified.
Report If Dolphins Were Monkeys September 11, 2017 11:17 PM BST
A horrendous decision. From a personal point of view i'm quite happy....on Palace to go down @11/2....However bad you think the situation maybe..Surely Roy Hodgson isn't the answer Confused

Sacked?? Only ten points from the top!!
Report LoyalHoncho September 12, 2017 1:58 AM BST
Just what possessed these stupid people at West Ham to take the guy on in the first place?  Then - if reports are to be believed - pay him a king's ransom to go.  It must have been the West Ham conceit of playing the "West Ham academy" way.  And now they're going to compound the shambles by taking on Woy.  They must be stark raving mad!

Report 1st time poster September 12, 2017 10:41 AM BST
of course palace could lose the next 4 games and we could have a situation where the great new hope and future was sacked and the 70 yr old dinosaur with nothing new to offer will be allowed to carry on,created 24 chances on sun compared to burnleys 4
Report ffaith September 12, 2017 1:31 PM BST
Senior player power.  Turkeys ain't going to vote for Xmas.  Most of them are long ball merchants.  They wouldn't last long under a system where they had to pass to each other and keep the ball on the deck.

Not throwing shade at Palace just a reflection of the generally shockingly low standards in the EPL.
Report 1st time poster September 12, 2017 2:33 PM BST
as carra showed on sky last night it was all a myth at l,pool they played more long balls than any team this season, hardly tika taka on the deck is it
