Germany seem to have some sort of development team out there  ,not sure they should even be favs.

Looks Portugals to lose for me have a decent upcoming team looks like Ronaldo is playing. Id probably dutch them with Chile however I don't think they're as good as they were Chile. The team under Sampioli were very underrated i think now that everybody understands there qualities making them more exposed. They do concede too which will give most teams a chance. The Germany team does look like the above poster said a team looking to build for the next world cup. Pretty interesting tournament I didn't even notice it was on.

Bored, and like doing stupid challenges on international tournaments, so lay NZ @ 16 returns £12.14, which I'll stick on the cs 1-0 Russia @ 6.6

Russia really are a poor team these days IMO an ageing team. They should be ok today with the home advantage but in recent year's in the qualifying and even in tournament play they've been short price maybe the markets adjusted now I see Portugal are chalked up at 1.75 to beat them next week.

Going for a red card here @ 6's, the ref Roldán is from Colombia and is a fiend for the red cards, domestically and nationally. Being the first game in the comp goes against it, but it is at 6's.......................

Excited

Be interesting to see the Portuguese line up before I get involved. I would be interested in seeing how Chile and Mexico cope outside of South America. Wouldn't surprise me to see a shock today.

I will probably have a watch in play and see how it goes as much as I think Portugal will win I think at 11/10 they are a little short based on the fact they don't really score enough goals for me. Mexico are a solid outfit with a team that have been together for a long time they know how to play together. Think this will be a low scoring game if I was pushed I would probably side with laying Mexico as I think the draw could be a likely outcome especially early on in the tournament. We'll see. GL

this is going counter to what i think will happen but ive backed ronaldo to score a header at 7/1, big chances for mexico to be exploited in the air

still cant get me head round why nani goal disallowed, commentators suggested pepe got touch( he was nowhere near ) dont think commentators are in ground and only mentioned pepe as camera went on him.

so, chile beat mexico 7-0 in last years copa...

the most important result in that tournament was the final, they played for pens against a firing argie side and blunted them totally.
By:

When: 18 Jun 17 17:25
the final was a disgrace, chile never let it flow and the ref was weak despite sending 2 players off
By:

I was on the blue team that night, I remember it all too well.

first game of that tournament argies ran them ragged despite it only being 2-1, was expecting the same again

chile over1.5 first half 4/1, against weaker sides they like to get the job done early.

watched cameroon get turned over by columbia in a friendly last week, they arent savy enough to put the game in lockdown
