thought he said Ajax would play 2 rounds if they lost the Europa Final, but 2nd in Holland goes into the 3rd Qualifying round, so play just 1 qualfying round to qualify for the Champions League.

There are 3 qualifying rounds and after that 'the play off round'
It starts in June with champions of Wales etc Then 2nd round when Celtic come in 3rd round Ajax late July Finally the play off round in mid August where Liverpool,Sevilla,Napoli enter by 'the league route' and play the 5 that came through from previous round ,and the last 10 from the 'Champions'Route' play off |

7/2ish Ajax in 90 mins and Arsenal the same to beat Chelsea. We know Ajax will attack and have no fear, they're young, fearless and in the shop window to start dragging lottery money wages. Utd seem to have forgotten how to attack, maybe Jose fancies going to penalties? Will Wenger allow Arsenal to be as cavalier and try to win it as opposed to playing not to lose? He has defensive issues so trust your attack,score 2 and you could draw, score 3 and they may win. Not the worst 20/1 double I'll have convinced myself is worthy of a wager.

Really wanted to plough in to Utd to lift the trophy @ 1.50 but I think it will be close. Ajax a bit of an unknown quantity, fearless kids, and they have the highly rated Dolberg up top

Don't think there's any doubt who the better footballing team are
But it might come down to who can just get over the line on the night dogged defending and a bit of luck could do it for united Il predict a tight tense affair with ajax just edging it 3 or four one |

hard to know how 2 teams will mash when they meet,havent a clue about ajax and utd arent all that much,for the match got to give it at least 10 mins and the ajax price might well appeal

on paper manu win this in a canter, but everyone knows they are far from the sum of their parts and often make hard work of converting their chances and hence winning games, i'll keep an open mind in-play but i'm not expecting a classic

i'd say ajax are at least as good as southampton and the league cup final was a close, manu should have brought fergie back in a one off for this game! you'd be looking at a manu 4 ajax 1

3-0 to Ajax by half-time. Lots of shots of Mourinho with hands on hips and looking exasperated. Second half, Man Utd get one back. 75 mins they make it 3-2. Last 10 minutes involve lots of long balls in to the box and maybe Fellaini heads against the post. Ajax win 3-2.

but surely this is mourinhos perfect opponent, a pressing/attacking team of lesser ability, manu sit back kill the energy of ajax (and everyone watching) before getting a goal on the counter, then everyone behind the ball for a 1-0 and all the media will then applause a tactical masterclass
