ok its a game in Argentina but there is a big incentive for both teams to go for the win because both can move up the league position 7 places if they win. On the other side of the coin both have only scored 13 goals each in 16 games played each. So there is a chance of both teams going for the win. its not often you get a game in Argentina that you could expect goals but maybe(just maybe) we might get one or two.
no,it must be over, and there were plenty of goals last night, the refs must be allowing the games to flow and the players must have stopped cursing the refs.

Nice write up Brass but i won't be backing too many goals in Argentina ..................ever. 90 mins running around kicking lumps outa each other, muchos fouls and referee centre stage as usual

I watched a game last week penerol were playing some team and it was real bad ,so I left the sound up and listened to the penerol supporters singing(think that's their name).it was absolutely terrific ,they went wild chanting when the scored.i don't know if wes fake cheering but you would think it was a world cup final with the noise. And to crown it all Peneral scored in the last ten minutes to win the game 2-1.it was in the copa lib.But if you see peneral playing tune in their fans a crazy.( I think they had guns and bombs with them at the game)

noticed it was 1-0 and put the game back on, just watched the away side hit the most ridiculous shot of the post.
if you lose by one goal you can count yourself unlucky.

ive seen teams in argentina trying to win titles settling for draws.
in that first half, of the 2 minutes i saw after seeing it was 1-0, the away side were sitting with a flat back 5 with 2 infront of them. the other players were running around all action but they were up against 7 defenders aswell.

there must be a reason the argentine sides dont risk losing a lead to score more goals. it must come from experience, i dont think theyre stupid.
there must a higher probability that youll stop them scoring 1 by not trying very hard for a 2nd than there is of you going for a 2nd goal while keeping them out for 1. when youre sitting back defending a lead youre forcing the other team to take more chances, which should increase your chance of nicking one on the break yourself.
thing is, you have to weigh that up the fact youve only got a 1-0 lead, so a penalty decision, set piece or a rare outstanding piece of play to pick you apart can still happen and rob you of your extra 2 points.
going all out to protect the 2 points extra for a 1-0 win is probably the smarter play but it hardly makes for great entertainment, im glad they got punnished in the end. i didnt see the penalty decision for the equaliser but i hope it was soft and wrong.

ok,this is the secret to a good Argentinian game.Put it on but don't look at it,just listen to the crowd singing, you will know when a goal is scored by their reaction. When listening to the game you think a goal is coming every 30 seconds. The game might be real bad but because the crowd reaction to a free kick sounds like free flowing football you find the game sounds as if it is end to end from start to finish. And the biggest cheers are when players go down pretending to be injured and roll round the pitch. it really is terrific entertainment provided you listen instead of looking at the game."im not kidding try it and see for yourself"
