Andorra are still bad, but they are less bad at home. Faroes are vastly improved from what they were, but still aren't world beaters.

Andorra +1 at 1.92 looks good and perhaps unders. The latter I wouldn't take at the current price as Andorra are more than capable of scoring and the Faroes are the better side.

weakest opponents ever faced no doubt - have they ever played Lichen-Stein or the Marino boys ?

Beat San Marino last month. Likely to always be in the same pot when it comes to qualifying though.

yeah that's what i assumed -  drawing  F/Isles  was a strange  occurence  - it didn't look right on the fixtures

I think your discounting how much Faroes have improved. Faroes picked up a great away win in Latvia last time out and of course we know what they did to Greece last competition.

Add to that Andorra at home at relative altitude are now much harder to break down than they were a few years ago.

Not sure I've broken even on the plus handicaps for those two sides though.

theyre certainly the strongest of the weak nations by a long chalk .

and now I just need to  rattle on about the populations  - only around 48,000  on the islands ,far, far less than Luxembourg .

it can't be easy living there - howling wind or blowy rain most of the time , no sunshine and a precious little daylight for quite a few months .

it's like a picturesque version of Glasgow

Faroe Islands were seeded in Pot 4 for the draw - the same pot as the likes of Turkey, Slovenia and Republic Of Ireland. This would have been unthinkable some time ago but they have undoubtedly improved in recent years as demonstrated by their victories against Greece in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.

Unsurprisingly, Andorra's recent win in San Marino was their first away win - would have loved to have seen that game.

There could be a chance of the Faroes coming third in their current group.

They have 5 points and home games against Andorra and Latvia to come and then away at Hungary. If Hungary drop points and Faroes can steal something in Budapest you couldn't rule it out. Long odds, but as you say a few years ago you couldn't dream of it happening.

Faroes should arrange a friendly against Egypt.

Faroes versus Pharaohs... The S*n would shirley sponsor it so they could write the headline.
