No thread on this game. Seems it's only Rangers celtic fans want to talk about.

4.9 on here ht/ft. I think the big crowd will lift celtic to a 3-1 win.
Be happy to be wrong though. Only got £40 on ht/ft result.

I think they have a great chance and hope that Celtic will win but I haven`t bet on it. Looks a tough match to me. My money invested on other matches but I sincerely hope you win aka. I sent you a message.
I gave my ticket to an old guy in the pub who has never been to a European tie. No one will get the Barcelona ticket though

Borrussia's first away tie in Europe was at Ibrox in 1960.
Rangers won 8-0.
Rangers won 8-0.
Messi for Barca. Just as well Strachan aint his boss. He'd be deemed too wee for the team.
That was a good one by Strachan. I can visualise the moment. Gordon looking upward towards Griffith, "Sorry mate but you are too wee".
Great defender, really fast but a terrible penalty kick taker.
In those days the captain took the penalties.

Celtic getting outclassed but that was a huge chance before half time. Sinclair had enough time to take a second touch
A mid table German team showing you how poor a player Scott Brown really is
Radio Scotland saying The Germans have players missing due to injuries,Whilst raving about the performance.
The Germans have looked a different level but it was a terrible goal to concede, Toure trying to be too clever
Good to see Efe's alive and well and still playing
Thank god we don't have to hear about about much a fortress Celtic Park is anymore, what a myth battered by a German mid-table team.
Barcelona 9 pts
Man City 4 pts
Borussia 3 pts
Celtic 1 pt
Table got a familiar look to it and with Borussia away next up it doesn't look too hopeful for celtic.

They looked like a pot 4 team. Fair play to Toure for fronting up the interview
No wonder uefa is considering kicking this cr@p out of the champions league for good.
Goal difference -9
No Thursday night football either.
The big sale starts January.

This fan is not confident for the away match.

good job they have an easy game against a very moderate team on Sunday.
Nice confidence booster for them.
Nice confidence booster for them.
Not quite evolved yet from the swamps of the East End.
A pub team with the most disgusting supporters imaginable .
You're looking for the Sevco thread that is kicking around somewhere
I hope the Rangers team watched this tonight.
Put this mob under pressure and they will crumble.
Put this mob under pressure and they will crumble.
Rangers are another pub team with an equally vile support. A nothing league with nothing supporters and nothing players. Doesn't deserve to be even spoken about , the Scottish football is that bad
just looking forward to Sunday mate, lapped up all the 4/5 old son.

They must have, to keep on watching the rubbish that is Scottish football
Scottish football has the biggest attendance percentage wise per head of population in Europe. Or some shiit like that
@cricketnut2 I'm guessing you're English.
Given the billions poured into your game how bad are you.
The bottom team in the EPL gets more tv money than all Scottish clubs combined.

I never saw it but from what I've read Liverpool/Man Utd was one of the worst games ever. Absolute garbage by all accounts
Was a terrible game. A borefest from beginning to end. And the players were paid millions.
They should only give the team with most scottish league titles an automatic invite to the champions league proper.
...and kick the rest of the dross out forever.

Scots made yer club TBB. You should be on your knees saluting the greatest nation on earth.
The English Premiership must be a pub league as well. The top team getting hammered 4 - 0 by Barca.

aka -catch a grip. BMG are 10 grades above ur team. Celtic will win by at least 2 goals on Sunday
How many were they going to win by in the last semi we played.
Agree celtic are favs but if Rangers can up their game from last time then will be close.

aka - this is a different Celtic team under Rodgers. U cannot base any Celtic performance under the Klown from Norway. Celtic are a decent team currently. We found our level at the Group stages of the CL. At present that's our top table for now. Other Scottish team supporters need to get behind the only Scottish team in Europe. The better we do in Europe it may mean Rangers, Aberdeen, Hearts, etc play a round less in future years. Scottish football is in a bad way financially.

Apart from Celtic fans themselves, does anyone like Celtic? Revolting club.

Do you mean in the same way celtic supporters rallied round to help Rangers in their plight?
Everyone in Scotland gets behind Sevco.
Hating them that is of course.

What was with that fanzone in George Square today ?
Group stages and their rolling out red carpets for SEPTIC again.
Bertie Auld and the lisburn loins whooping it up.
Have the council no got better things to spend the publics money on.

Kriskin celtic supporters were delighted when Rangers were put into the 4th tier.
Celebrated it and were unconcerned for the damage it might do to Scottish football so why would any Rangers supporter ever support celtic.

Same team, same supporters insisted Rangers played all games on the road

This is why what Gees says is correct. Just jealousy of course.

aka - I understand what u are stating. I agree with u that it did damage Scottish football when ur club were punished
Damage. Don't talk shiite. Many teams cleared their debts, crowds went up and some won trophies. It might of been shiite for Celtic but the rest of Scottish football loved it and flourished. And their still loving the car crash
Some teams cleared their debts? Like who Gees?
If yer referring to Aberdeen then I suggest you look a good bit deeper into how it was structured.
TV monies cut, unable to get league/cup sponsors other than on the cheap and the loss of the biggest travelling support in Scotland.
Now before you question that last comment, which I know you will, check out the travelling support of the team who replaced us in the top tier.

Geese - what aka has written above about TV monies, sponsors, etc he's spot on. Financial damage
What teams have flourished? WALOFS
Hibs - relegated
Dundee Utd - relegated
St Mirren - relegated
SPL now left with schite like Ross County,Partick,Hamilton,Dundee,Inverness.
Hamilton average attendance this year 1,788 - flourishing
Motherwell were 5th last season with a -16 goal diff - flourishing

However much it sticks in the craw Celtic are the only hope for the country co-efficient. The better they do in the CL (or EL) the more chance Scottish teams have to start in Q3/Q2 rather than Q2/Q1 of the EL.

Waiting on Gees coming back to tell us that Motherwell sold out of pies in 3 out of the 4 seasons.
There's plenty of them to take your pick, Aberdeen, Partick, Killie, Hearts to name a few no matter how the debt or benefactors are structured it's still sorted. Ross County, Inverness, St Johnstone winning cups, Hibs getting crowds they haven't seen in years and all the lower league teams benefiting from the 'blue pound'. It's been a great time for scottish football. The tv contracts/sponsorship yer banging on about went mostly to two teams so although certain boards might be piissed off the supporters are loving it.
May Dave King reign supreme.

I'm starting to wonder if European league tables come with Celtic pre printed on the very bottom to save time?
Celtic fans were saying they'd pick up a few quid in CL till Christmas then play EL after......errrmmmmm.
Celtic the minnows of Europe celebrating holding a big club to a spawny draw at their own gaff on one occasion, typical of a lesser club attempting to get a replay in the FA cup.
That was it, a one game phenomenon.
