Some absolutely woeful teams in the Premier League these days.

a lot of 'small ' teams fill up the EPL these days  . Teams like Burnley,Hull, Swansea,Bournemouth always occupied the lower divisions .

a lot of traditional big name sides tend to be littering the Championship .

Burnley v Watford is never going to be a great viewing pull .

They make enough on sponsors they could charge £10 a month but the greed is at an all time high

It proves it's over charged when as soon as you go on live chat they offer you cheap deals

When it first came out you can see why they charged so much as you need a new dish box etc but now every house has a dish near enough.

you can buy the boxes on ebay so i dont think sky are too concerned

people sell them in shops ffs Laugh is it really illegal ? Streaming is not illegal if done in certain ways

live streams, card sharing, magic boxes, foreign satellite - inconceivable that you would pay sky/bt to watch a small selection of the games they decide you are going to watch.
Report geordie1956 October 16, 2016 4:30 PM BST
if you buy a kodi box do you need to get the features updated regularly with a card or something equivalent - for someone not conversant with technology are they easy to set up by a novice or would you need to get a tv engineer to help?
Report oneyallbeenwaiting4 October 16, 2016 4:31 PM BST
I dont mind paying for BT, you get quality football from interesting leagues like Serie A, Bundesliga and SPL with Chris Sutton a delightful bonus, plus a load of top Baseball and Basketball from the US

Sky has next to nothing, their main selling point is the old firm game
Report oneyallbeenwaiting4 October 16, 2016 4:32 PM BST
almost forgot about Ligue Un

you also get every champions league and europa game

BT really is value for money, hopefully sky and the money league dies a long overdue death

Good point earlier in thread about people want to decide what game to watch not be told what one they will be watching, for the money they are paying for the premier league they should have a similar set up to NFL game pass where you subscribe and every game that season is available live.

I pay £25 a month for Sky Sports and that includes the landline. All streams are way behind Sky which is way behind live. Streams are poor but do allow you to watch games not on Sky/BT.

Sky is very good for cricket.

If you can't afford £25 a month (or £50+) then you ain't making betting pay.
Report TheChaser October 16, 2016 5:15 PM BST
How can all streams be way behind sky when sky show only a handful of games

You mean the games you are told to watch are a bit ahead
Report TheChaser October 16, 2016 5:16 PM BST
Even the ones on sky are not far behind i have seen it on a stream and compared before and it is dead on sometimes

When was the last time you tried matching the times of a stream to sky and how many seconds was it behind

Or your flushing your profits away

It all depends on the individual and me personally i can do without the panel telling me how the game went because it's scripted b0llocks.

All football streams I have compared (Sky to online) are slower by at least 30 seconds. Admittedly this is only for England/Europe. If I could find analogue radio channels then I would certainly use them.

The Ashes may be for people who watch/bet on cricket occasionally. There's many more games than that for cricket backers.

It's not a question of buying an analogue radio it's a question of getting analogue broadcast otherwise there's no point.

There's probably more fishermen on here than sky!

I only use Sky Sports if a top six team is playing. I feel like I'm watching fewer and fewer games each year.

I cancelled it at the end of last season, and was intending to watch the games I wanted on the Kodi box. But I never found a stream on there worth watching, so I had to have Sky Sports back. I definitely don't get my monies worth out of it.

I've seen Kodi streams that are faster than my sky and they are sky sports streams.
Kodi and streaming are not illegal, neither are Kodi boxes. You have to add channels to kodi to watch stuff and it is the channels which are streaming illegally.
From experience you need to add and change channels quite regularly to keep up, as they tend to clamp down on certain streaming sites from time to time.

If you want to try Kodi just download it for free onto your computer and try adding channels. There is no need for a box. If i want to watch on my tv i hook a laptop to tv via HDMI cable, I just take the HDMI cable from my Sky box and stick it into my laptop HDMI port. If you're going to watch a lot of stuff on thru the tv then consider getting a box but try it for free first
