as west ham are suspect at the back, you`de have thought Southampton would be pinging the ball up to Charlie Austin, not fannying around with short passes

nothing against west ham, barring the fact they deliberately flouted the rules in the tevez affair and somehow managed to get a stadium funded by the taxpayer, but it would be feckin hilarious if they were relegated and were stuck playing in front of 15,000 in that ghastly athletic ground, especially after the crowing of brady and the dodgy porn spiv sullivan

West Ham, were always going to struggle at their new stadium to start with, playing on a ground, where the crowd are far away from the players, where at Upton Park, the crowd were virtually on top of you, with always an excellent atmosphere at the ground.

Saints fans were given a round of applause when they sang 'we've got more fans than you' on 88 minutes. It was true! 45k had left! Stayed to the end to enjoy the last of the day's sunshine..

Injera the Saints fans where probably locked in until the west Ham fans got out.Away fans normally get locked in unless the home team is cruising and all the fans are staying to sign along and cheer etc
But WH had nothing to celebrate

had a hammers ground steward on 5live earlier saying they wouldnt have any problems in or outside of the ground if the team are WINNING. ... good luck with that project.!!

Chaser - noone gets shut in at that place. Could be a bit tasty against other opposition unless the stewards/police alter their tactics.
The game was going on and it was incredible how many had left. Very surreal. A long season ahead but it's West Ham, we're used to it.
