Exact Kick off time Man U vs Southampton

Betfair sports book had promo offer where first in play bet on this match was refunded if it lost.

I read the promo email really late, so was trying to do the old bet365 trick where you back a double result outcome before kick-off and then back the outcome you haven't covered when the match goes in play. For a certain win.

The Sportsbook site hadn't changed to in play and 5live commentary hadn't said match had started, when I placed my pre-match bet on 12 outcome. I then refreshed Sportsbook match page a few times, and listened to 5live and match started, and market changed to in play. I then placed same bet on draw.

Sportsbook won't refund the losing draw bet because they say my bet on 12 outcome was in play and won.

When I queried, they advised my first bet on the match was placed at 2000 and 9 seconds and that they are taking the start time of the match as 2000. They won't say 'the match started at 2000 and no seconds, exactly' I suspect because they don't know exactly when it started!

Is there anywhere where exact start times of matches are recorded? Some stat site?

You would hope they would stamp bets as in play or pre match, but I don't think they do.

I would have betfair exchange would record exact start time, but they just ignore my requests to check this.

Maybe I was too late with my first bet, and have learned lesson to get on sooner next time! But am enjoying the discussion with them!
