I think Newcastle should clear 100 points again,

Ritchie and Gayle could be two excellent signings for that league.

Newcastle have the best manager and the best players by quite a distance. They should PSG/Celtic this league.

Newcastle look worthy favourites but are little value. Brighton more interesting to me.

Ipswich
Shelf Wed
and Leeds (Garry Monk won't take any nonsense from the owner)

None of the above need to improve much to finish ahead of maybe the 3 worse team for years to be relegated.

If Newcastle start badly Ashley with do what he usually does sell the assets and off load Sissoko and Wijnaldum and anybody else with a big price tag attached
and Benitez will quickly join them and then he sell the club to some rich guy and everybody will be happy.

Are you being serious? First sign of a wrong word from Monk, and he will be out of the door. Just like all those before him.

Toon to win it by a tatty field, but for an outsider I reckon Brentford at 40
Report Burton-Brewers July 18, 2016 2:59 PM BST
I definitely think Newcastle will be in the top half
Report AllezLesBleus July 18, 2016 3:43 PM BST
Can't Catch Me    Don't think so......Leeds have a manager now who this time last year was been talked about as a future England manager and now they only need to improve a little over 10pts to be in the hunt for the 100 million prize of premier league football.......
Monk is also a guy who young players can relate to which might now attract the young unproven talent Leeds use to be once famous for haven in their teams.......
While the leeds owner does not seem the most likeable bloke I don't think he is a total fool, a 100 million is a decent prize to win, Monk is  also the best manager he could of hoped for.
I think Monk will do well there and Leeds will have a good season.......but I guess football is all about opinions and July more than most.

As a hardened Boro fan I have seen quite a bit of Championship football and I would be very surprised if Newcastle did not win it, although it might take them time to adjust. Norwich I expect to go back solid team at this Level they will be like Burnley of last season. Villa is very hard to predict. I thought Brighton were a quality side last season and pretty consistent, if they had won a couple more games and lost a couple more instead of so many draws things would have been different. They played SW at a very bad time in the play offs. There is a growing gulf between the Championship and Premier League, because of the money and status situation. Boro have had to go out and buy 7 or 8 players to give them a decent chance of surviving after seeing Norwich relegated by not improving their squad enough.

Analyst.....#.there is a growing gulf between the Championship and Premier League, because of the money and status situation#.... A interesting comment.... of the last 4 teams who won promotion over the last two years as in on points......3 of the 4 are still there...... one, even won the Premiership.......
While Watford and Bournemouth were top half of the league teams last year for most of last season....
If you go back 3 years of the 6 teams, you would have a Champion League team and a Europa team as well as Watford and Bournemouth making 5 of that 6 playing now in the premiership...Cardiff City is the only team now spoiling that stat and they self destructed.
Go back 4 years and it was Southampton turn while West Ham went up with them on their tailcoat.
6 years ago it was West Brom and Newcastle.

I think the opposite there is now very little difference between the Championship top half and the premiership bottom half.....
which could make you query why the first 3 in the betting now, was last year relegation fodder from the premiership especially in Villa case.
