If Liverpool fans were fighting at the game, and I've no idea if they were, then it's pretty poor coming a couple of weeks after what now seems the whole country was rooting for ie the verdict in Warrington

There's then the whole ticketless fans debate, how many went etc??

It is obvious that down in his Sevenoaks council estate, onepercenter never sees the Manchester evening news, so for his benefit this is a typical article covering Manchester related football violence in that paper.

As new figures are set to show a rise in football-related violence, Mike Keegan reveals a catalogue of trouble at City and United games across the country.  A shock dossier compiled by the M.E.N. reveals that the menace of football hooliganism is far from extinct. Documents obtained under Freedom of Information laws show police had to deal with a catalogue of booze-fuelled hooliganism at United and City games including:

•Fights in pubs, grounds and stadium car parks

•Sickening chants about the Munich air disaster

•Supporters storming turnstiles and forcing entry into sold-out matches

•Gangs of racist fans converging on the city from Europe

We asked every police force in the country for post-match reports into games played by the Reds and Blues. The revelations come as the Home Office is set to announce a rise in the number of incidents of violence and disorder at football matches last season.

I thought this Manchester Evening News article says a lot about Manchester related football violence.

Manchester derby hooligans fight in horrific mass street brawl involving around 100 hooligans which erupts after Sunday's Manchester United and Manchester City match.

An hour-and-a-half after City had beaten United, a group of Red trouble-makers stormed The Eastlands Bar, near the Etihad stadium, which was packed with celebrating Blues.

A group of Red trouble-makers also stormed The Eastlands Bar, near the Etihad stadium, which was packed with celebrating Blues. United hooligans threw bottles and a flare at City fans who were drinking on a terrace at the rear of bar.

Police say hooligans attacked each other with wooden poles.

The violence left one man, 48, thought to be a City fan on the ground after he had been punched and kicked in the head while on the deck.

Police were on the scene moments later and arrested one man they found using a chair as a weapon.

The five suspects who were arrested have been released on police bail pending further enquiries into the street brawl. The five arrested were among eight made by police. Three United fans were also arrested inside the Etihad.

Police had been on alert after a handful of known United hooligans were free to attend the game as their football banning orders had expired. Before the game, police issued 35 ‘dispersal orders’ to prevent trouble-makers getting to the ground.

In summary after this match, the following amazing statement was made 'Police bosses say the derby passed off relatively peacefully.'

Funny thing is 1% is that you don't seem to have condemned the (much much worse) violence at the Scottish cup final nearly as much (if at all) so go figure!

onepercenter also fails to condemn the much much much worse mayhem and violence caused by manure fans at the last Manchester derby, and as reported in the Manchester Evening news, matches involving manure all over the country.

The reason for this omission? onepercenter is a hypocrite blinded by his manure bigotry in trying to make something out of nothing.

toolkin, read back a few posts where I condemn all violence.

And if you were not trying to deflect blame from the Liverpool thugs last week why bring up other acts of thuggery?

Where have I tried to deflect blame or defend anyone onepercenter? I have merely put a little bit of balance into your attempts at trying to make something out of nothing. u are a hypocrite onepercenter, blinded by your manure bigotry.

As U still don't get it do onepercenter, so to reiterate, a typical match involving your team goes along the lines of:

Manchester derby hooligans fight in horrific mass street brawl involving around 100 hooligans which erupts after Sunday's Manchester United and Manchester City match.

An hour-and-a-half after City had beaten United, a group of Red trouble-makers stormed The Eastlands Bar, near the Etihad stadium, which was packed with celebrating Blues. United hooligans also threw bottles and a flare at City fans who were drinking on a terrace at the rear of bar.

After this match, and following this catalogue of mayhem and violence, the following amazing statement was made 'Police bosses say the derby passed off relatively peacefully.'

do u have a greenhouse at your Sevenoaks council house onepercenter? If so, maybe u should consider that u should not be throwing tooooooooo many stones from now on?

The reason for this omission? onepercenter is a hypocrite blinded by his manure bigotry in trying to make something out of nothing involving other teams but turns a blind eye to typical events such as 'Eleven men were arrested after violence broke out at the crunch derby between Manchester City and Manchester United. Manchester Police detained the men before, during and after the game'

Time for u to get off your high horse onepercenter, take the plank of wood out of your eye while looking for flecks of dust in others, and condemn YOUR TEAMS THUGS who commit violence and mayhem all across the country.

pushkin, the Liverpool thugs should be condemned by all sane people and deserve life time bans, jail time. If you can't see that then there is no helping you.

Another winning Man Utd final that passes on peacefully with no reports of in-stadium violence..

it is possible, thebitterbighter, that yesterday's match did not have the usual level of violence and mayhem at your clubs matches - as reported by the Manchester Evening News - but if that is indeed the case it is very much the exception that proves the rule.

Onepercenter, I ask again, where have I tried to deflect blame or defend anyone? I have merely put a little bit of balance into your attempts at trying to make something out of nothing.

From your postings on here, when will u be demanding life time bans and jail time for these thugs, rather than the 'banning orders', and 'dispersal orders' that Manchester Police use in an attempt to try and minimise so far as is reasonably practicable, the violence and mayhem caused by the thugs attaching themselves to your club at manure matches.

burton, when those such as OneHypocriter, are constantly trying to make something out of nothing while ignoring their own teams  misdemeanors I think it worthy of reply.

don't read it the PoP - the choice is yours. (I am just killing a little time while enjoying the IPL and tennis).
