Hi all, Wondered if anyone could help? I placed a bet with a major high street firm with a blue logo yday, on the 3pm special, for 30 or over goals in the 10 Prem games. They voided it after the United fiasco, but there were over 30 goals in the remaining 9 games. They have gone with the stance, all specials have been voided and we aren't paying, but this doesnt sit well as there were over 30 in the others. Any tips as to where I stand? Cheers

Read the terms and conditions and see if they are able to get away with voiding or not.
Which bookmaker was it and what odds did you get please as I bet on the total goals aswell. |

It was joe c's firm, and it was an enhanced 6/5 special, from 5/6

Betfred have a similar bet and they stipulate that any postponed matches are awarded 2.5 goals. I didn't know Coral did that type of bet. 6/5 was big. It was 1.65 on betfair exchange just before kick off.
They shouldn't put up betting markets up without having clear rules for it. |

I think voiding is the correct decision. If there had been only 29 goals in the other matches, you would have been wanting your money back.

I've found this rule on their website, and I'd suggest it should stand:
Football Rules: Multi Match - Total Goals / Total Goals Live Total Goals Market Description Select the total number of goals scored in a nominated group of matches from the specified options. Bets are settled on the events that occur in normal time. This includes any injury/stoppage time added on by the match official at the end of normal time. Extra time does not count unless otherwise stated. If a match is postponed normal postponed match rules apply. If a match is abandoned normal abandoned match rules apply. If a winning selection has been established in the time played before abandonment, bets placed on that selection will have already won and will be settled as winners. Bets placed on other selections will have already lost. If a match is abandoned and no winning selection has been established in the time played before abandonment, bets placed will be void because a match did not play for the full duration. Settlement will occur in real time, based on the feed from our service providers. In the event of a dispute, data published by the www.soccerway.com immediately after the final whistle will be used to settle bets. If www.soccerway.com data is not available or if there is significant evidence that the www.soccerway.com data is incorrect, bets will be settled based upon such reputable alternative information sources which are available to us. Adjustments to settlement will not be made for any changes or adjudications made by governing bodies after the event. |

joes voided this bet beforte half time yesterday, but have since resettled all bets as winners this morning after a fuss was made on twitter.
