Anyone on this one, I know BHA have been patchy recently but figure them for goals tonight and to turn it on now it matters.  Backed 1-3 and any other away win.

If he didn't touch it then he is offside from the pass by the goalkeeper (this was correct)

its the way lino goes back to halfway line and then for some reason changes his mind- did brighton players influence him ?
Report DirkDiggler May 13, 2016 8:22 PM BST
Then don't give the goal...

The lino didn't have a clue, the ref gave the goal, so where did the info that he didn't touch it come from? The Brighton bench?

Report DirkDiggler May 13, 2016 8:27 PM BST
He ran off up the line and had his mind changed by the Brighton bench/players. That's what happened. The lino didn't know the rules. Right decision at the end of the day but it only further illustrates how inept the officials are.

The two bets pregame are correct score bets with high value odds with minimal stakes.  They are speculative as are any bets pre game.  Watching the game gives you an idea of what is likely to happen.  Sure anyone here who is watching this would favour Sheff Wed based on the 45 mins watched thus far.  If not take a look here http://www.skysports.com/football/sheff-wed-vs-brighton/stats/355083

Report wolf3011 May 13, 2016 11:43 PM BST
The playoffs arent a stupid idea unless you support the team that finishes third. What interest is a league where most would have nothing to play for with months left in a season if it was just the top 3 promoted? If interest dropped then the game would suffer with financial consequences for all including Brighton.. if they were good enough they would have finished top 2 over 46 games and knew the format like everyone else.
Report uptheboro May 13, 2016 11:46 PM BST
The scoreline itself was something along the lines of what i thought it would be though i went for 3-1. A two goal deficit wouldn't bother me if i was a Brighton fan as they are more than capable of turning it around which is what i thought would happen in the 2nd leg. What would bother me now though is the injuries, especially those to Hemed and Knockaert which obviously will make things difficult now.
Report wolf3011 May 14, 2016 12:13 AM BST
The scoreline would bother me and clearly bothers most as pre match Brighton were favourites to qualify at 1.7 and are now approaching 5. Its an awful result and you can probably count on the fingers of one hand the number of teams that have overturned a 2 goal deficit in 30 years of playoff history to get to Wembley.

Interesting reading this thread and even when the officials get a very tricky decision right a number of people are still slagging them off. Yep, I was there.  That, Everton away in the Cup and the Wolves match where we got promoted probably rank as the top 3 games I've been to.

And you are correct.  Allardyce was also wishing the Blackpool fans a great day out at Wembley.  Can't imagine that Kamara needed much of a team talk; just nailed the programme to the wall and let that do the talking.  We went out, did them 3-0, then Allardyce got sacked Laugh .
