The Betfair Emergency Maintenance Team all seen rushing into the Sportsbook Office where the server is base and cut the Exchange lines first to make sure no mugs could be lost back to the Exchange.

The Exchange Office will get a visit to check the website problems when they can be arsed.

Betfair are very sorry that the Sportsbook is down and the mugs cannot throw away their money.

All the maintenance team are currently working flat out to get the Sportsbook back up then they will get around to the Exchange.

What kind of data centre doesn't have duel power supplies, a UPS and a couple of back-up generators?

Betfair must be feeling the pinch after mega88 & Westender's big wins Laugh

Best part of 3 hours down and we get 'Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.'

inconvenience
noun
1.the state or fact of being troublesome or difficult with regard to one's personal requirements or comfort.

I may be overreacting a tad but I'm not entirely convinced that Betfair chose the right word ruination, disruption, catastrophe or even, dare I suggest 'loss' might be more recognising of the impact that this sort of amateur shambles might have on customers

Same old Betfair, same old response.

Customers used to love them now they are simply waiting on the next gambling innovation to appear.

seeing as Mug88 and Westb*llender seem to be the only people posting during the outage, are we to assume this means it's only people with a funded account that can't get on the exchange?

if you were logged into the forum when it went down you were not logged out of forum
by the crash, just from your betfair account

if you were not already logged in, you could not log in

Odd thing was yes you couldn't log into the website but you could log into the API, but then it just didn't work.
