Assuming Spurs still have the title to play for (anything less than defeat for Leicester at Man Utd and the title is surely theirs) Chelsea are too big. Being priced up on recent poor form, which is misleading, imo. One thing, they've had key people out, like Costa, Willian and Hazard, and now they're back. First game with those three playing in a while and they won 4-1 at Bournemouth. They've also been giving fringe players a chance, like Miazga, Loftus-Cheek, Pato, even Falcao getting a run out, with Hiddink stating it's a good time to do it, with nothing to play for. But the Chelsea fans were chanting on Saturday about how ''they better beat Tottenham'', and Hiddink has said he knows how important this one is to the fans. Hazard and Fabregas have also stated how much the Chelsea dressing room wants to stop Tottenham. Throw in some Tottenham nerves as well, if Leicester do fail against Man Utd.

So, in short, 3.6 is ludicrous

I got 3.6 at 3 65, 3.5 on the sportsbook, yesterday
Report JC1326 April 25, 2016 2:29 PM BST
Sorry, I'm a lying fantasist. Got 3.3 at Bet3 65. The 3.6, 3.5 was on Swansea Silly
Report JC1326 April 25, 2016 2:31 PM BST
But 3.3 is still very good. 3.1 is very good. What price would Chelsea be any other season, 1.80?

Should say I'm not a lying fantasist, I just got my bets mixed up

Chelsea won 1 of last 8 at home (v Newcastle!). In fact their home form is abysmal - since beating Arsenal back in September, they've managed to beat Villa, Norwich, Sunderland and the barcodes - the worst 4 teams in the division! They are a rank outfit - lazy, disinterested, demotivated and if anyone thinks they give a rooty toot toot about denying Spurs a chance at the title they know nothing about the modern footballer. This Chelsea side couldn't care less and are just counting down the days to their hollybobs!
Report JC1326 April 25, 2016 3:13 PM BST
I agree their home form overall isn't very good. Forget under Mourinho, only Hiddink matters, but even so, I believe one win, Newcastle 5-1. At the same token, they have only lost one game under Hiddink at home, Man City, which, like I said, they rotated, Hiddink wanted to see what the likes of Loftus-Cheek would do against a strong side. If you think 40,000 fans baying for Tottenham's blood doesn't make a difference to these players, you're wrong, imo
Report JC1326 April 25, 2016 3:13 PM BST
40,000 probably an exaggeration Laugh you get my point

Anyone who thinks Chelsea fans would allow the team to be disinterested against Tottenham, especially in a game that could mean something in the title race, knows nothing of just how much Chelsea fans despise Tottenham.

One of the reasons why they haven't won at Stamford Bridge for 26 years.

Chelsea @ 2.75 now. I layed off at 1.80something yesterday, so a good return whatever the score is tonight.

Thoughts on the game? I'm hoping Spurs can win, keep the title race going a bit longer. I think they can, Chelsea's home form poor under Hiddink

For Chelsea fans wondering who the new Leicester manager is, he is the guy who used to manage your club before you started supporting it.

Mug thread? What, flagging up a side that was 3.3, that I then backed, and made a profit on when the price plummeted. £100 if Chelsea win, £135 or so if they don't, seeing as you like stakes so much. Dimwit

Just to be clear here, I was never going to let my back of Chelsea ride, this was purely for a trade. Like I said, I had to make a decision on the outcome of the match to maximise return, and I felt a Spurs result was more likely, although not by much
Report sickoflayinwinners May 2, 2016 9:06 PM BST
just decided to lay 1.1 leicester for the premiership.theyre 1.78 to beat everton  and still need 2 its to be home, they were 1.06 before tonights game and with spurs being a 7/4 chance to win tonight pre match  the market  doesn't seem to have reacted enough to how this games going.. only played small, laid for 315quid

JC clearly you weren't posting for a trade as you have spent the whole opening post banging on about willian returning and the positive attributes of Chelsea. He's covered all angles , if spurs come in he says he fancied them, if Chelsea comes in he says it was great value after all

You certainly are.. You said Chelsea were great value , then said you fancied spurs and its ended up a draw - congratulations you backed both teams and neither came in . The lowest Chelsea came into was 2.36, Ive checked on the markets so you're a complete fantasist
