Last time I saw some timely fashion breaches was Ian Poulter in the golf.

longbridge it is internet fraud,it is extortion and it is a criminal offence,it don't matter what way its dressed up its still extortion,and its a cyber crime.

i remember back about 2004 the clocks went back an hour and paddypower never changed the KO times on their site until the next day

they had 3 mexican games kicking off at 3.30am and they accepted bets on them even though they were an hour in, i made about a £1300 that night.  they didnt have any in-play betting on south american games in those days so obviously were not monitoring what was going on, all they had was match result, over/under 2.5, correct score and the golden ticket ht/ft.  i just backed the ht/ft markets knowing the ht scores and they paid.  would never happen now.

@brassneck - you still haven't pointed to any law or GC rule being broken - you know the definition of 'gambling' in the Act includes betting on outcomes that are already know to one or both participants?

I agree it's pretty or desirable; I'm fairly sure it's not criminal.
