its a done deal the new manager is the fat waiter
Report cricketnut2 March 11, 2016 12:10 PM GMT
And he won't do any better, as Newcastle are an awful side, that belong in the Championship.

Wor Rafa

McClaren was a great coach at OT. Obviously lacks the skills to get the best out of young millionaires.
Report donny osmond March 11, 2016 1:06 PM GMT
mclaren was brilliant with fergie at ot, and did a great job winning a trophy
at middlesboro, he has had some bad luck at newcastle but must of that is due
to some awful players

he might get a bad time, but he has fought to improve the club, im pretty sure
hes made it easier for whoever follows him

With Rafa in charge get on the 0-0 for the game a Leicester.
Report theres only one best tonic March 11, 2016 1:34 PM GMT
9-0 to Newcastle you mean

An obvious slip of the finger you made there but I forgive you Laugh
Report cricketnut2 March 11, 2016 1:44 PM GMT
i take it you mean a 0-9 defeat for newcastle, not even Leicester will score 9

Rafa will keep them up but they'll want him gone next year cos he doesn't win 5-3 every week

So where does brolly man go now....bit of gardening leave first then back on the job market, what club will have the misfortune of his talents next?
Report themover March 11, 2016 3:11 PM GMT
United could be interested, they seem attracted to rubbish lately Laugh

poor Leicester - running into the new manager jump started club.
Report ian merseyside March 11, 2016 3:36 PM GMT
Am very surprised Rafa has taken this one.  I would have thought he was a shoe in for the Valencia job if and when Gary Neville leaves at the end of the season.
Report themover March 11, 2016 3:38 PM GMT
yep, gutted. Wanted him at Valencia, along with the rest of the clubs supporters Cry
Report Hound-Dog-2 March 11, 2016 3:42 PM GMT
Does it matter who the new manager is. A poor team is a poor team.
Report Racingqueen March 11, 2016 4:14 PM GMT
merson is spouting some 5hite about how harshly he got treated.

Who gives a f**k. He gets a massive payoff. These ****s live in a bubble where they feel they deserve special treatment. McClaren can count himself lucky hes lasted this long.Hes been a disaster
Report geordie1956 March 11, 2016 4:24 PM GMT
another gravy train merchant is merson
Report lybertyne March 11, 2016 6:39 PM GMT
Kudos to Rafa for taking on a challenge instead of jumping from club to club with unlimited transfer funds.
Report TiredandWeary March 12, 2016 3:50 AM GMT
Nailed on to be villa's next manager imo.
Report The Shiekh March 12, 2016 8:22 AM GMT
Mersin is becoming an embarrassment
Report BARNEY15C March 12, 2016 8:32 AM GMT
Rafa has got a relegation clause in his contract. If Newcastle are relegated then he will be released from his contract. So his loyalty to the club only goes so far.
Report dustybin March 12, 2016 11:36 AM GMT
mclaren is a nincompoop that gets found out time after time in short order.
I cringe every time I see the man interviewed.
Im starting to wonder whether he was a stooge to make Ashley look good ffs.
