LUFC

I have followed this club since 1960. I had a season ticket for a long time, even when moving to the south. Many years ago, on here, I started a thread on the history, good times and bad. Unfortunately it got "trolled" which is one of my problems with football these days. I always fiercely wanted Leeds to win, but was never blind to the skills of Best, Charlie George, Bowles, Dave Mackay, Osgood and all the others. Yes, as a club we've made mistakes and still make plenty. I'll always watch for their result on a Saturday afternoon, but I'm done with football nowadays for all the usual reasons. Give me a good game of rugby - either code, but especially League - any day as a better and fairer spectacle.
