Rakitic is class.

Mascherano isn't that bad for what Barcelona want their defenders to do. His biggest weakness is his height, which contributes to Barcelona lacking height for defending set plays. To be a defender at Barcelona you've got to be good with the ball at your feet, they don't want defenders who might be good defensively, but will just hoof it up the pitch.

Biggest weakness is Alves who is very average these days. It surprises me he still gets in over Vidal who seems a better player to me. Alves doesn't even offer a lot offensively anymore, and has always been an average defender.
