I think this club is well worth buying. In fact I think a guy could make a lot of money if he bought it.
my guess is that a guy could buy it for 40 million and make a healthy profit in one year when he sells it.

That sounds good, so if they are debt free why are they not paying wages on time ?
Report donkeyd January 7, 2016 8:42 PM GMT

If there was a million  forumites then they would be able to pool  all their 40 quids.
We could have a draw then to see who'd be chairman

Eddie Davies is the guy who has been paying the wages.
Report Ibrahima Sonko January 7, 2016 8:55 PM GMT
So they are still in debt as the income doesnt equal the outgoings.

Bolton are like a compulsive gambler who was losing £10,000 a week and is trying to win it all back on £1 singles.
Report roache January 7, 2016 11:00 PM GMT
They need £15 million just to see out this season with wages/loans/running costs etc administration is very likely unless the clowns in charge cannot sort that out in time and they get wound up.

Buyers aren't queueing up for this great deal.
Report Crisp77 January 8, 2016 9:36 AM GMT
They need deep pockets to be able to afford to pay Emile Heskey's goal bonuses.

How does the debt get to these levels?

Turnover in 2013 was just £29 mil, taking this down to a small scale business - no way in the world would a bank, HMRC and many other organisations allow a small business turning over 500K a year to have a debt of £4 million. The owners of that business would likely have to explain themselves infront of a judge for gross neglect.

I feel sorry for the real fans of BWFC but someone needs stringing up for this. The football league should be held accountable as well, instead of worthless percentages banded about salary caps etc - they should make it clear the business model standing before them is a ticking time-bomb.

Gartside was captain of the ship and he has disappeared over the horizon never to be seen again or venture anywhere near Bolton again with a mystery illness with even the local rag from about 4 weeks ago not reporting exactly what this mystery illness is but stating he is gravely ill and respecting his privacy, the ship is due to run aground Wednesday of thursday this week with administration so to prevent it sinking without trace next monday in the high court from a winding up petition, meanwhile the vultures are picking off the training ground, the hotel, offices within the Macron stadium, any car parks or land, and any of the playing squad worth any transfer fee so that rules out 90% of the squad, meanwhile the current owner Boltonian Eddie Davies is sunning himself in some exotic location.

Done deal....

WANDERERS have confirmed the sale of their Euxton training base, with Wigan Athletic due to move in over the summer.
The club has released a statement confirming the sale of the old ROF Chorley Sports Ground, which has been their home for more than 15 years.
It is understood that the club will recieve £2.2million for the sale of the site and do not have a clause allowing them to repurchase it in the future.
