The name brings back memories from the 90's

Awful news, I'm not one to label any sportspeople as heroes but Pavel is the exception for me, for no particular reason I followed him throughout his career, every week when I play in goal I have one of his shirts on from either Newcastle or Sheffield Wednesday, I have some great memories of watching him play and on the couple of occasions I've met him he's always come across as a decent bloke, and only last week I was nagging my Mrs. about buying me his book for Christmas.  And now this :-(  Him and his family are in my thoughts, desperately hopes he pulls through and isn't brain damaged or such like.  Hang in there Pav...
